In Others’ Eyes

"Yes!" She sounded too excited.

Yohana took a deep breath and calmed herself down. If she was too aggressive, Henrie might close off again, and she would have to say goodbye to a proper conversation.

"Yes, Your Highness," Yohana repeated.

This reminded Yohana of the beginning of her relationship with Henrie. At that time, Henrie insisted that Yohana called him by his name, instead of a formal address.

She couldn't do it right away because she was maintaining distance from him. Now she must return to a formal address to prevent the distance between her and Henrie from widening.

"Explain!" Henrie's voice was cold and intimidating.

So this was how other people saw him? Yohana had never seen this side of Henrie. She had always thought of him as a cute little puppy, who wagged his tail when she was nearby.
