Princess Assassin

Elke set aside her suspicions toward Lady Yohana and shook her hand. She promised to draft a contract agreement about this joint business. "I will let you know when the draft is ready," said Elke.

"Your Highness, thank you for allowing me to create and present this business proposal. I am eager to build and expand the coffee house business throughout Reichwein."

Lady Yohana displayed a soft smile on her face. Elke still couldn't discern whether that smile and the words of gratitude were genuine. Even though Lady Yohana appeared transparent with her emotions and feelings, Elke couldn't help but feel that Lady Yohana was not being truly truthful.

"Being away from my family for years and growing up without them was difficult. I worried a lot about returning to society. Would I be able to find my grounding here? Is this really where I belong? Would people accept me?"
