From then on, Runa was regularly summoned to the capital to meet with the General. The General had been good to her, so she hadn't found the opportunity to give a slip-up about her connection with Castellan Stanislaus.

She worked her brain to think of a way out of her situation. She figured that she had to try everything that could possibly help.

Runa paid attention to the character of the guards. There was one particular person, who was cynical and jumped to conclusions a lot. Runa couldn't afford to fail so she must find another alternative for her backup plan. However, time was ticking, and she didn't know if the situation in Reichwein had gotten worse or not. She couldn't delay things any longer.
