"Elder Fang, Please forgive the negligence of my followers who don't know an important person like you…" Liu Cheng choked his own breath when he saw that his bodyguards were behaving inappropriately, Liu Cheng looked at the bodyguards beside him, "What are you waiting for? Immediately apologize to Elder Fang and his disciple!"

The bodyguards were confused but seeing their Master being so respectful towards Fang An, they were sure that Fang An was no ordinary person. The bodyguards immediately apologized and looked apologetic for offending Fang An.

"They are such loyal followers of the Liu family that they sometimes forget that this path belongs to the Han Empire not the Liu family, please Elder Fang not take their previous attitude to heart." Liu Cheng again apologized.

"No problem, it's all just a misunderstanding." Fang An smiled faintly as he shook his head slowly.

Fang An intended to continue on but Liu Cheng asked him to stay, "Elder Fang, my heart won't be at ease if I don't host you."

Liu Cheng wanted to make sure Fang An didn't hold grudges or make a big deal out of this in the future. Even though Fang An had said to forget everything, Liu Cheng insisted on apologizing by giving Fang An and Xiao Chen a banquet.

"Elder Fang must have traveled for days without having a good meal, please Elder Fang will enjoy having dinner with me." Liu Cheng kept on cajoling Fang An until finally Fang An could only agree.

Xiao Chen didn't really care, after all the past few days the two of them had only been eating bread and dried meat so it wouldn't hurt to taste hot food tonight.

"Young Master Liu, how did you recognize me?" while eating a meal together, Fang An again asked a question that Liu Cheng had not answered before.

Liu Cheng coughed lightly before explaining that several years ago Fang An saved his eldest brother and since then the name Fang An the Jade Faced Swordsman was well known to most of the Liu family. The uniform of the Valley of the Hundred Swords was eye-catching and easy to remember. Fang An also had the trademark of wearing a mask when going out and had skin that was more beautiful than a girl's.

Fang An choked on his drink when he heard Liu Cheng explain that his skin was more beautiful than the average girl's skin, Fang An was quite sensitive to this matter.

Xiao Chen devoured the dish with gusto but his eyes were also on the bodyguards around him. There were about thirty bodyguards guarding this group, three of them were first class warriors while some were second class warriors and the rest were third class warriors.

Xiao Chen's attention then turned to Liu Cheng's shadow before smiling sinisterly, Xiao Chen only stared at Liu Cheng's shadow for a few seconds then turned his eyes away.

Fang An also looked at Liu Cheng's shadow for a few seconds but didn't show any expression while doing so.

"Young Master Liu is carrying so many things, is Young Master's destination still far away?" asked Xiao Chen.

Liu Cheng then told that he was on his way to propose to a girl, all the items he brought were dowry for the proposal. The location he was headed for was a city they should reach by tomorrow night if they could maintain their current speed of movement.

Even though Xiao Chen was a child, Liu Cheng did not look down on him one bit. Liu Cheng more or less knew the situation of the sects even though he had never joined one.

If Fang An took Xiao Chen on a journey at this young age, surely Xiao Chen would have some ability too. It's just that Liu Cheng thinks Xiao Chen is 12 or 13 years old, only a few years younger than him. If Liu Cheng had known that Xiao Chen was only 8 years old, his reaction would not have been this calm.

"The disciple of the Jade Faced Swordsman is definitely not just anyone…" Liu Cheng thought as he looked at Xiao Chen.

After Fang An completed a mission to rescue an important member of the Liu family, they tried to recruit Fang An to become one of the forces of the Liu family but the offer was flatly rejected. The Liu family then investigated Fang An further and discovered his extraordinary achievements in both the Valley of the Hundred Swords and the martial world.

The Liu family's higher-ups agreed that Fang An would become a great figure in the martial world in the future and thus ordered the Liu family's members to be respectful when meeting him. The Liu family naturally didn't know that Fang An suffered internal injuries which made his future not what they had in mind.

"It's too late to continue traveling, How about Elder Fang stay with us tonight? I have prepared a tent for you and your disciple." Liu Cheng offered with a big smile.

Indeed, in addition to dinner, Liu Cheng invited Fang An to drink wine. When the banquet was over it was already dark.

Fang An looked at Xiao Chen for a moment before accepting Liu Cheng's offer, the two then made their way to the tents prepared for them.

Only when Fang An and Xiao Chen were out of sight did Liu Cheng heave a sigh of relief. Liu Cheng got up from his seat and entered his tent to rest.

"Young Master, the Jade Faced Swordsman is even more powerful than the rumors say…" a hoarse voice rang in Liu Cheng's ear.

Not long after Liu Cheng entered his tent, a black robed figure appeared from his shadow. The figure wears a mask in the shape of a white crow's head.

"Oh? I hardly ever hear Elder Wu praise other warriors." Liu Cheng smiled faintly at the masked figure.

The masked man before him was Wu Ya, one of the expert level warriors working for the Liu family. Wu Ya was a master of illusion, with his special technique he could hide in someone's shadow. Liu Cheng was one of the talented younger generations of the Liu family so Wu Ya always protected him at all times.

"Not only the Jade Faced Swordsman noticed my presence but even his young disciple could see me hiding in the Young Master's shadow…" Wu Ya's heart stopped for a moment when he noticed Xiao Chen staring at him with a broad grin.

Liu Cheng's eyes widened, he couldn't believe Wu Ya's words. Liu Cheng finally couldn't help but smile awkwardly and was grateful that he wasn't being arrogant in front of the Master and Disciple pair.

Wu Ya also added that if he fought himself against Fang An, he felt that there was little chance of him coming out victorious. Wu Ya himself had not expected that the Valley of the Hundred Swords had such a talented young warrior.
