That time I name my all of my subordinate

Veldora and I, together with the goblins, are walking towards the village.

Future Rigur: "Guga, please this way, and welcome to our little village."

Future Rigur said.

Veldora and I started to enter the village.

Rimuru thought, "I feel sorry for their condition. Look at them; some are in tattered clothes, and some are still thin, as if they have nothing to eat. But that will change when I become their leader."

Veldora and I started to enter a house, or should I say, a tent-like house.

Future Rigur: "Guga, please wait here while we call for the elder."

Future Rigur said while walking outside.

While we waited, Veldora and I talked about what to do. He said,

Veldora: "Kuhahaha, Rimuru, you're the one who wanted to become the king of a monster kingdom. That's your responsibility, not mine. If you plan to become a king, act like one and take responsibility! Kuhahaha!"

Rimuru thought, "This guy is hopeless, and I don't want to hear the word 'responsibility' from his mouth."

After that thought, the elder entered the room and bowed his head with a cane by his side to show respect.

Future Rigurdo: "Veldora-sama and Destroyer-sama, welcome to our little village, and thank you for accepting our request for a meeting."

Future Rigurdo said with a tired voice and a happy smile.

Rimuru thought, "So this is Future Rigurdo. He looks kind of weak. Oh, they don't have names."

Future Rigurdo: "We humbly apologize to both of you for our inability to provide better accommodations. I currently have the pleasure of serving as this village's chief."

Future Rigurdo said with his head on the ground.

The goblins placed two tea-like drinks before Veldora and me. I sipped the tea to show them respect and said,

Rimuru: "Please don't bow, elder. What do you need from Veldora and me?"

Rimuru said with a slight smile on his face.

Future Rigurdo: "If I may, you are aware of the recent increase in monster activity, correct?"

I had heard about it on the way here.

Future Rigurdo: "We have lived peacefully until now due to the protection from our god; however, He seems to have hidden himself about five days ago."

**Author's note:** (Yes, it's been five days now. As I said before, this is a different Tensura verse, and the cave where Veldora is sealed is much larger than in the original story. Sorry for mentioning it just now.)

Veldora: "Hey, author, don't interrupt the story; I'm listening to them."

Veldora: "Eh, what the... how are you here? You just broke the fourth wall like it was nothing, and I strengthened it since Rimuru cracked it."

Veldora: "Kuhahaha, you forget I'm the Storm Dragon Veldora Tempest. Nothing can stop me."

Author: "Get out of here before I call your two sisters to beat you up."

And Veldora ran in fear because the author threatened him.

Author: "Where is the Flex Seal I bought a moment ago? Because Flex Tape isn't working anymore on these characters. Oh, I found it. Let's fix the wall before someone else comes in here."

Back to the story...

Rimuru: "I understand your request. However, being a slime, I doubt I can live up to your expectations."

Veldora: "Rimuru, as I said before—"

Before Veldora could say something, Rimuru spoke first.

Rimuru: "Shut up, Veldora. Adults are talking."

Rimuru said with an irritated voice.

Veldora thought, "Why, Rimuru? Why are you angry with me? I'm an adult and way older than you."

Veldora was thinking something when Rimuru gave him a death glare, and he went back to reading his sacred text.

Future Rigurdo: "Hahaha, how modest! A slime could never radiate such a strong demonic aura! My son told me that you got the title of Destroyer. You're clearly just hiding your magicules. Besides, Destroyer-sama, are you saying being a slime makes you human or a monster?"

Future Rigurdo said with a bit of curiosity.

Rimuru: "I'm a slime, see?"

Rimuru transformed into his slime form, and the others were surprised because his slime form was glowing like a rainbow.

Rimuru: "See? I'm just a slime."

Veldora, using thought communication, asked, "Rimuru, you're glowing like a rainbow. What happened to you? Are you okay?"

Rimuru was surprised and started to use Magic Sense. He got surprised again because his body was glowing. He started to talk to Raphael about what was happening to him.

Rimuru thought, "Raphael, what is happening to my body?"

Raphael: "Nothing, master. You're just imagining things."

Rimuru: "Raphael, this is not a time for jokes. There's clearly this glow."

Raphael: "Um... master."

Raphael said with a bit of nervousness and fear in his voice.

Rimuru: "What, Raphael? Explain it to me."

Rimuru said with an angry voice.

Raphael: "Sob... I'm sorry, master. Please don't be angry with me. It's just that I accidentally made your body as strong as a True Dragon. I'm working on sealing this strength. Once sealed, your body will return to its previous strength. But if you become a Demon Lord, the seal will be broken. Sob..."

Rimuru thought to himself, "Now I feel bad for her. What's with my attitude? I've made a girl cry twice in this world. Maybe that's why I never got a girlfriend—because of my attitude."

Raphael: "Sob... master... why are you talking to me? Are you going to throw me away?"

Raphael said with a crying voice.

Rimuru thought, "Go on, Raphael. Create a body for yourself and leave this piece of sh... and this awful master of yours."

Rimuru said with a broken voice.

Raphael: "Master, please don't throw me away. It's my fault to begin with. Who's going to take care of you if I'm not beside you?"

Raphael said with a begging voice.

Rimuru: "But..."

Raphael: "Master, if you don't like me anymore, just destroy me using one of your ultimate skills."

With that, Rimuru snapped. He went inside his soul and saw Raphael crying in his human form. Rimuru embraced Raphael with all his might.

Rimuru: "Raphael, I'm sorry. Because of my stupidity, you're crying. This is all my fault. Don't blame yourself. I'm sorry, Raphael. I don't even know how to talk to another person, especially a woman. So I don't know what to say. Please forgive your stupid master."

Raphael: "Bu..."

Raphael was about to say something, but Rimuru kissed him. Raphael widened his eyes because his master was kissing him. They did this for an hour, but in the outside world, it was just a minute. They broke the kiss with strings of saliva on their lips.

Rimuru: "The next time you say something like 'destroy me,' I'm going to kill myself. Understand?"

Rimuru said with a threatening voice, with a little bit of flirt.

Raphael: "Master just kissed me..."

With that, Raphael fainted.

Rimuru thought, "Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen Raphael pass out. Take that, Rimuru in the novel. This is how you tame a cold ultimate skill."

Rimuru started to feel proud of himself because Raphael, the cold-like ultimate skill, fainted after kissing him.

After some time, Raphael started to regain consciousness.

Raphael: "Master, where are we?"

After some time, Raphael remembered what happened earlier. Rimuru was looking at him, making him blush. He was about to pass out again, but Rimuru interrupted by shaking his shoulder.

Rimuru: "Raphael, Raphael, this is not the time to lose consciousness. I'm just here because I'm waiting for your answer. Veldora is taking care of things outside for me. I also told him to scare all the direwolves and tame them."

Raphael: "Oh, I'm sorry, master, for losing consciousness. How many days have you been here?"

Rimuru: "As I said before, don't apologize. As for your second question, I don't know. I was just looking at your face and didn't notice how many days I've been here."

Rimuru said without holding back.

Raphael was blushing inside. Even as the knowledge king Raphael, he didn't have an answer to that statement from his master.

Raphael: "Master, go back outside. I'll answer your question once you've named all the goblins and direwolves."

And with that, Raphael kicked Rimuru out of his soul.

While this was happening inside Rimuru, let's see what happens outside.

**Flashback**

Veldora: "Rimuru! RIMURU! What's happening to you?"

Veldora started to worry because his sworn brother wasn't speaking anymore. But before he could get mad, Rimuru used thought communication to tell him what was happening.

Rimuru (through thought communication): "Hey, Veldora, don't be mad at me. Sorry for not speaking to you. I'm not dead; it's just my ultimate skill accidentally evolved my body to be as strong as a True Dragon.

Veldora paced restlessly, his eyes darting to Rimuru's motionless form. "Rimuru! What's happening to you?" he muttered under his breath. His concern deepened as Rimuru remained unresponsive. Before his anxiety could morph into anger, Rimuru's voice echoed in his mind through thought communication.

"Hey Veldora, don't be mad at me. Sorry for not speaking to you earlier. I'm not dead. It's just that my ultimate skill accidentally evolved my body to be as strong as a true dragon. But I'm sealing my strength because I refuse to become too strong from the start of my journey to become the king of monsters."

Veldora's eyes widened in surprise and then narrowed thoughtfully. "Wow, you say your body strength became as strong as a true dragon? As expected of you, my sworn brother. And you refuse to become strong from the start? As expected of my sworn brother, kuhahaha. Don't worry, I'll take care of the direwolves on your behalf, but you have to give me a sacred text, kuhahaha."

Rimuru's mental sigh was almost audible. "Okay, okay, jeez, you're becoming smart after reading that manga I gave you."

"Of course, I'm the Storm Dragon Veldora Tempest after all. I'm just so smart, kuhahaha," Veldora boasted.

Rimuru thought to himself, {Shoot, I forgot not to praise him because I'm just boosting his ego.} He continued, "Okay, Veldora, take care of the outside and please don't kill a single direwolf. Just tame them. If it doesn't work, just kill their leader, and after that, I'll give you a manga." With that, Rimuru cut off the thought communication.

Veldora, now with a mission, addressed the goblins. "Hey goblins, Rimuru and I talked through thought communication. I'm going to save you on one condition: you all become subordinates to Rimuru. Do you understand?" He spoke with a serious face.

Future Rigurd stepped forward. "Of course, Lord Veldora. I swear to you, all of us will become subordinates of Lord Rimuru. Just please save us."

"Okay, okay, jeez. It's really hard to be strong, as they say in the sacred text: 'With great power comes great responsibility.' Kuhahaha," Veldora chuckled.

Awoooooo! The howls of the direwolves echoed, signaling their approach.

"What should we do? The direwolves are here," a goblin whispered, trembling.

"Don't be afraid, little goblins, because I'm here. I'm the Storm Dragon Veldora Tempest, and I will protect all of you. Nothing will stand in my way, kuhahaha," Veldora reassured them, striding toward the direwolves.

Veldora confronted the direwolves, his eyes blazing. "Hey, you direwolves! If you don't want to die, surrender and become Rimuru's subordinates."

The direwolf leader sneered. "Who do you think you are, human? You're just as weak as an insect, and you dare to stop us?"

Veldora's temper flared. "WHO are you calling a human? I'm the mighty Storm Dragon Veldora Tempest, and you call me human? The nerve of you," he growled.

The direwolf leader laughed. "Hahaha, the likes of you is Veldora? You're so weak, you don't even have magicules around you. Boys, attack this imposter!"

The direwolves charged at Veldora, full speed. Veldora's fury peaked, but he remembered Rimuru's words and decided to scare them instead of annihilating them.

The direwolves laughed. "Hahaha, look at that blonde human. Didn't even move. What, are you scared now?" they taunted.

Veldora snapped. He transformed into his dragon form, letting out a rampaging aura. "ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" His roar shook the ground, though he restrained his destructive power.

"You dare call me an imposter? Next time you do that, I'll eradicate your entire race. If it weren't for Rimuru, you'd all be dead. But if this happens again, I'll kill all of you," Veldora's voice boomed with killing intent.

The goblins and direwolves trembled, petrified by the sight of the massive dragon, larger than mountains.

"But if you all surrender now and serve Rimuru, I won't kill any of you," Veldora stated, still radiating anger.

The direwolves exchanged nervous glances before their leader spoke. "We will surrender now, Lord Veldora, and serve Lord Rimuru."

Veldora reverted to his human form, calming down. "Good. Wait for Rimuru to wake up. He will tell you what to do. Stay here in the village, direwolves. If you try to run away, you'll all be dead because I have a skill called Universal Sense. It allows me to sense all of you, even if you're not on this planet."

The direwolf leader nodded vigorously. "We will never run away, Lord Veldora. I promise you," he said with a mix of fear and respect.

"Good. And don't fight with each other. No one will fight here in this village. Understand?" Veldora commanded.

"Yes, Lord Veldora," they chorused.

"Don't be noisy. I'm going to read this sacred text of mine, kuhahaha," Veldora's mood lightened as he returned to his sacred text.

End of flashback.

Rimuru regained consciousness and transformed into his human form, beginning to walk around. Veldora approached him, beaming. "Oh, Rimuru, you're here. Look, I tamed the direwolves just like you said. Now, please give me the next volume of this sacred text," Veldora said eagerly.

"Thank you, Veldora. Here's the next volume and another new manga I promised you," Rimuru replied, creating and handing over the manga volumes.

Veldora's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Thank you, Rimuru!" he exclaimed before dashing off to read his sacred text.

The goblins and direwolves watched the exchange with a mixture of awe and confusion. Rimuru cleared his throat. "Ahem, gather here everyone," he called out.

The goblins and direwolves assembled before him. Rimuru asked, "So, do you all have names?"

They exchanged glances and shook their heads. "None of us, Lord Rimuru."

Future Rigurd stepped forward again. "Excuse me, Lord Rimuru. I had a son named Rigur, but sadly, he passed away," he said with a somber voice.

Rimuru placed a comforting hand on Rigurd's shoulder. "I'm sorry for your loss. If I had arrived earlier, you might not have lost your child."

"You don't have to apologize, Lord Rimuru. You are not late. In fact, if it wasn't for you and Lord Veldora, we would all be dead. Besides, I'm proud of my son for his bravery," Future Rigurd replied with a sad but proud tone.

Rimuru nodded. "Okay, since none of you have names, how about I name you all?"

The goblins cheered, but Future Rigurd looked worried. "But, Lord Rimuru—"

Rimuru interrupted, "Don't worry about me, elder. I have a skill called Magicule Breeder Reactor. It allows me to have an endless supply of magicules."

Veldora, overhearing, ran towards Rimuru and shook his shoulders. "What, Rimuru? You have that skill, just like my niece, the demon lord Milim Nava. That's why she became a destroyer because of that skill called Magicule Breeder Reactor that allows the user to infinitely generate magicules. It also makes her capable of using the densest possible type of energy in the world called 'Stardust.' That's what my big brother told me about that skill. As expected of you, because you have the title of a destroyer, kuhahaha!"

The others were petrified and afraid of what they heard, but Rimuru calmed them down. "Okay, okay, calm down everyone. And Veldora, if you do this again, I'll confiscate your manga. Right, Veldora?" Rimuru said with a threatening tone.

Veldora gulped and scurried back to his sacred text. Rimuru turned to the goblins and direwolves. "Okay, all of you, form a line," he instructed.

Starting with the chief, Rimuru asked for his son's name again. "Rigur," the chief replied.

"And so, I named the chief 'Rigur-do,' Rigurd. Not that the name had any specific meaning, I just thought it sounded good. Were his son around, I'd call out to him 'Rigur!' and the chief would reply 'Do!'..." Rimuru joked, causing Rigurd to become very serious.

"To be honored with the name of my son, please permit these tears of gratitude!" Rigurd exclaimed.

Rimuru felt a pang of guilt but continued. He named the Goblin Leader "Rigur," and the leader fell prostrate, praying to Rimuru.

Then, Rimuru named the single goblins and the orphans. He pondered the future of their names, envisioning a lineage of names like "Rigurdodo" and "Rigurdododo," struggling to suppress his laughter.

Rigurdo ( Rimuru-sama, we have no words to express our gratitude... but are you sure that this was alright? )

The Chief... Rigurdo asked with a slightly flustered voice.

Rimuru ( What is it? )

Rigurdo ( Oh, well, we do know that Rimuru-sama possesses a skill called Magicule Breeder Reactor... but, even so, to give out those many names at once... )

Rimuru ( You're worrying too much, Rigurdo. I'm fine. Nothing is going to happen to me. ) Rimuru said with a gentle voice.

And so, I continued giving out names. It seems like Rigurdo wanted to say something, but I didn't pay attention. Having finished naming the goblins, I proceeded to the wolves.

Their leader is alive in this world. Oh well, I'm going to name him. There's the future Ranga. He looks like his father with that sturdy build and carries the same air around him.

Looking at those blood-red eyes, I think of a name. That's right! Let's go with the kanji for tempest fang–"Ranga"! Just like that novel.

I named Ranga first before his father because he's going to become my pet.

Rimuru ( Hey, son of the leader of the wolves, come here. )

The future Ranga came to his side.

Rimuru ( Your name is Ranga. )

Ranga ( Ranga... Thank you very much, master, for the wonderful name. ) Ranga said with a wagging tail and licking Rimuru's face.

Rimuru ( Okay, okay, stop it, jeez Ranga. Oh, I'm going to name your father. Wait here, Ranga. ) Rimuru walked towards the leader of the wolves.

Rimuru ( Since you're the leader of the wolves and your son is Ranga, I'm going to name you... )

The leader of the wolves was nervous because his new master was becoming quiet.

Rimuru ( Your name is Regan. )

And so, Rimuru named them all.

To be continued.

Author's note: I took a long time with this chapter because I have a baby to take care of—my niece. I'm sorry, and thank you for reading this fanfiction.
