Seven Legs

All students present turned their heads, searching for this person with the indigo coloured hair.

It didn't take long for this person to arrive at the platform where the one eyed man stood.

This person had an indigo shoulder length hair with black tips. His pale

Vampire like skin and choice of clothes gave a weird kind of vibe. This person was a typical goth only that there were traces of indigo on his attire instead of the regular gothic pitch black.

"Mr Storm please step forward too."

Ryan was disappointed. The fight loving maniac was hoping he was going to be selected to fight this weird person but his high hopes came crashing down immediately Jackson Storm was picked.

Storm stepped unto the platform without the slightest hesitation, showing that this person before him didn't' scare him in the slightest way.

"I want you two to show these brats what true assimilation means." The one eyed man said.

Storm placed his index finger and thumb on both hands together then, he crossed both hands making an X like pattern. A gold coloured spear from thin air appeared in Storm's hand. The spear looked majestic and powerful, one could tell how expensive it was just from it's outward appearance.

The indigo student replied by summoning six metallic spider legs from his back. The onlookers could see that this spider leg like things came out from his back. Infact, they were actually attached to his back.

"Begin." The one eyed man ordered.

The indigo haired guy planted all six spider legs on the floor and lifted his body above the ground, making him look like an actual spider

The spider (man) charged forward and Storm did same. The two combatants clashed.

The spider dude slashed storm with the two metallic legs in front, Storm simply raised his one and half metre long  spear to block this attack.

The spider man smiled immediately Storm used both hands to block this attack.

*Boom*

A strike from one of the legs connected with Storm's left side sending him about two metres back.

"Impressive. You manage to touch me but I won't fall for that trick twice." Storm arrogantly said as he charged at this human spider before him.

Using his spear as a vaulting pole, Storm launched himself into the air above his opponent. He did a quick spin mid air and used the momentum to strike spider boy at the back.

Storm felt his attack connect but didn't see his opponent on the floor as he expected, rather he could even see his opponent smiling. That was when he realized one of the spider legs blocked his attack. He did a quick count and realized there were now seven legs instead of six.

"They are seven in number! Did I miscount? Did he grow another of those spider limbs?" Storm thought.

*Bam*

Another attack from one of the legs hit Storm while his was still in a state of shock. This attack packed more power as it sent him across the platform before he finally managed to regain his footing after much struggle.

*Cough*

Storm coughed out a few drops of blood coupled with the two knife like slashes on his body caused by those two attacks from spider boy.

[Lightning style: Lightning Cloak]

Storm covered his body in lightning like how Mr Ford had described at his lesson on emission.

Storm's let out a burst of speed as he covered the gap between spider boy and himself in less than a second and punched spider boy in the chest.

[Lightning style:Lightning Canon]

Storm yelled as every lightning on his body converged into his fist before punching spider boy in the chest sending him flying out of the platform unconscious.

*Thud*

Spider boy's body landed on the floor like a sack of potatoes.

"Is he dead??"

"Storm killed him."

"Should we get help?".... Adrian heard several students muttering without taking any action.

He stepped forward and picked up spider boy's unconscious body.

"Excuse me sir, he needs to get to the nurse." Adrian said politely as he dashed out of the room heading straight to the school's clinic.

*Bang*

The sound of the clinic's door alerted all who were inside.

"Help!!" Adrian yelled at the top of his voice.

Immediately several medical personnels rushed with a gatch bed( bed used for emergency situations). Spider boy was placed on the bed and was taken into one of the wards while Adrian waited at the reception.

"Mr Storm I must commend your fighting style but the objective was to display the use of weapons not to kill your fellow students. Class dismissed!!" The one eyed man said.

The students walked out of the armory, some going back to the dorms others to whatever place they could find leisure and entertainment.

"Man, I think we need to check up on Adrian and that spider boy he rushed to the clinic."Alexis suggested.

"Fine, will go but not now." Ryan replied.

...

*Beep* *Beep*

"Where am I? What happened?"

Those were the words Adrian heard  the so called spider boy say.

"Nurse!! He is awake!" Adrian shouted.

Immediately several medical personnels rushed in with various instruments Adrian had never seen before.

"Where am I?" Spider boy groaned again as he finally regained consciousness.

" Young man, how are you feeling?" A female nurse asked while placing her hands on his forehead.

He simply ignored her and turned his head to the right. He was shocked to see Adrian in his ward.

"Nurse lady, what is he doing here?" Spider boy said while pointing a finger at Adrian.

"You should be grateful to this young man, he brought you here." The nurse replied.

"You could at least tell me your name, I don't really care if you thank me or not." Adrian smiled as he walked up to his bed.

"T-t-tarantula." He stuttered.

"It suites you." Adrian replied.

"How do I repay your kindness?" Tarantula asked.

"For now, just get better then we will talk about what you owe me in due time. I have to leave now, I need to get some rest. Today has been quite exhausting."

"Sh*t!! I can't believe I am now indebted to this trash, he should consider it a privilege to have helped me. He even has the guts to talk about payment. I'll overpower him and make him my loyal dog anytime I wish, I'll just play along until I get better." Tarantula thought.
