Mark ignored them and continued to hold out a second finger.
"The second ability, camouflage, or invisibility as you call it."
"Miles, you can blend your body, along with your clothes, into your surroundings to achieve the effect of visual invisibility. Even at a certain point, your invisibility can evade infrared detection!"
"Wow, this is so cool too." Shadow Spider-Man called out, "Is this little guy really that powerful?"
Miles scratched his head with some embarrassment.
Middle-aged Peter held up his hand, "I can testify that he can indeed be invisible, I saw it with my own eyes this afternoon. But it's cool to actually be able to avoid infrared detection, ain't it?"
He inclined his head towards Miles as he said the last sentence.
Miles turned to Mark and was also a little doubtful, "Can it really do that?"
Mark affirmed, "Yes you can."
"Yes!" Hearing Mark's Words, Miles jumped in happiness, "That's so cool!"
At that moment, Mark extended a third finger.
"A third ability."
"What? There's a third one?" Shadow Spider-Man was surprised, just the two abilities that Mark had mentioned earlier were ones that none of them, the Spider-Men, had ever possessed, making them a little envious.
But he didn't expect that there's one more?
"This one, I'm actually not too sure about," said Mark, "It's best for Miles to find a way to verify it by yourself in the future."
Miles nodded, expectantly, "You tell me what is it, I find it myself."
Mark said, "The third ability is, Immortality."
"Immortality?"
"Yes." Mark said, "It is one of the effects of the OZ formula, and this factor is present in your genes, so you should also have this ability. I don't know exactly how it manifests though, you'll just have to find out for yourself later."
"Mmm" Miles nodded repeatedly, taking note of Mark's words.
"There's one last ability - energy burst. Under great pressure, you can explode all your physical strength and energy at once, forming a powerful energy blast that is powerful enough to destroy this entire underground base." Mark finished his words in one breath.
This time, even the middle-aged Peter who had been supporting Miles was a little stunned.
"Miles, did you hear that, you're actually that powerful!"
"Uh did I?" Miles looked confused.
Miles had said was far beyond his ability to handle.
How big was this underground base?
Just from what could be seen, a conservative estimate had to be five or six thousand square metres, almost half the size of a football field!
It was also dozens of metres deep!
And with a one-time release of the power within him, he could actually destroy such a large place!
While Miles was dumbfounded, he also had some fear.
He was terrified of the power contained within him.
He wasn't ready for it.
And the others' gazes had risen somewhat strangely.
If Miles' words were true, then Miles' potential was indeed immense.
But at the same time, he was an "alien" among Spider-Men - a Spider-Man that was more like a mage than a fighter.
It took a long time for the crowd to digest the shocking news and get moving again.
Middle-aged Peter patted the little black spider on the shoulder, "In that case, let me train you and release you your true powers."
"I."
However, instead of the expectant eyes of Miles, what responded to middle-aged Peter was hesitation.
"What's wrong?" Middle-aged Peter was puzzled, but he knew how excited the boy was for his powers.
He desperately wanted to make himself strong, because that was the only way he could help others and prove himself.
This was a child with a passion.
He saw in him the person he once was.
Miles said hesitantly, "But I'm afraid."
"Afraid?" Middle-aged Peter was even more puzzled.
Rather, it was Gwen who looked from the side and saw some clues.
She clasped her hands to her chest and said, "Are you afraid of losing control of your power and hurting others?"
Miles nodded, "My body contains such a powerful force, then if I were to accidentally explode out and hurt others I would regret it for the rest of my life."
Hearing Miles' words, Mark was a little dumbfounded.
He never thought that by giving Miles his ability information, he had actually caused him to become in fear of the power within him and become shrunken.
What was this?
What too much power?
But shouldn't a normal person feel happy knowing that he has so much potential?
As expected of the second coming of Spider-Man, he definitely had some perspective in life.
A few moments later.
After some persuasion from middle-aged Peter, Miles, for some reason, actually got on the elevator and then left.
"Why did he leave?" Penny asked curiously.
Mark made a thoughtful face, "Is it because he wasn't mentally ready to be burdened with such potential?"
Gwen chimed in, "Or maybe he wasn't ready to become a ticking time bomb?"
Middle-aged Peter shrugged, "He said he wanted some peace and quiet."
"Well, fellows, let him go ahead and have some air, we've got work to do here too." Mark said, picking up the conversation.
He then turned to Penny, "Penny, now that you have the information from the computer, can you try to fix the gadget?"
Penny and her mech partner walked over to a table where Aunt May had hooked up the computer mainframe that middle-aged Peter and the others had just brought to the display.
Penny reached out with her small hands to operate it and began to read the information in it.
When Peter got down to business, everyone stopped talking about Miles and gathered behind Penny to look at it.
The Super-Collider is a device built on the basis of a high-energy synchrotron, and its main function is to accumulate and accelerate two streams of particles injected by the previous accelerator to a certain strength and energy, so that they can collide to produce a high enough reaction energy.
So, although it is called a "collider", it is actually a super device that combines a particle accelerator and a particle collider into one.
The total length of the particle collider is a staggering 30 kilometers.
It is spread over almost the entire length of Brooklyn.
That's why Spider-Man tried desperately to stop it from being activated in this world earlier.
Because if something were to happen to this thing, it would lift the whole of Brooklyn into the sky.
And that, with the safety of nearly 2.6 million people at stake.
