Spider-Verse: Another Spider-Man

I've been waiting for a spiderverse fanfiction ever since Across the Spiderverse came out, and I've finally found one that's pretty good and isn't some villainous emo insert, but a normal guy who got bit by a spider and got spider powers (just like peter parker/spiderman?!?!). It's 13 chapters in and the fic is pretty solid till now nothing too quick or too slow and mc is getting introduced to his powers, looking forward to how he develops into his own version of Spider-man! It'll be cool to see what other worlds he goes to (maybe mcu?) Hopefully Author keeps updating consistently and doesn't drop cause I'm waiting to see where this joint goes!!

Writing Quality(3 star)- It's readable, and there are only a few grammar mistakes. I would have given it a four star but sometimes, the author gives very long info dumps that isn't necessary and his descriptions really can't make you visualize well because it's has little descriptions. I also don't like the fact that he uses Shadow Spiderman instead of Spider Noir, which I'm sure he received comments about but the fact he didn't change it shows his laziness.Story Development(2 star)- I personally didn't like the development, the fact he revealed that all of them are just media in his world and the fact that even though he is an OC, he's barely contributing to the plot. It's something I personally don't like. Character Design(2 star): Since this is a fanfic, the character design should have been pretty high but the way the author writes the character feels one dimensional, so I made it lower. Plus, I don't really like the MC. I don't have problems with weak, cowardly, edgy, overpowered, or cool protagonists, what I do care about though is a bland and uninteresting character. That's what this MC is, he's very bland, his personality is not explored, we don't even know his motivations that much. Update Stability(Five Star): Uploads everydayWorld background(Five star): This is a fanfic, so I think it's perfect. Though the world itself in this fanfic isn't explored that much.

It's great if people liked reading this, but I can't personally understand their interest. It just feels like the author doesn't really know much about spiderman or the world they write about, and sometimes feels like it's a translation of some other novel rather than an original. These reviews gave me high hopes, but I left with shadow spiderman.

I'm just here, fulfilling the tradition, nothing to see.

The grammar isn’t horrible but the way the story is written makes it seem weird and unnatural as if it was a translation from a chinese fanfiction, One of the things i didn’t like was how weak the main character was both physically and personality wise.

Not bad. There are some minor grammar and vocabulary issues. After 35 chapters of this fic we still don't know how the SI looks, like everytime I see the name Mark I just imagine Markiplier so that's my headcanon for this guy. The Gwen thing is kinda weird considering the MC is at minimum 18 and she's like 15-16, mental diff is kinda big. I like that Mark is not an edgelord dark spiderman but he's just a normal guy who got bit by a Mars spider. His ability is cool ig, kinda op but haven't seen many people write the power correctly. A decent fic, better than most in the spiderman tag.

Great quality spider-verse fic which there definitely aren't enough of. I like the fact hes a fan of the spiders in general and he acknowledges the good and bad of all the continuity's. It's not perfect but it does its job extremely well and for that have 5 stars.

writing quality is good but sometimes it’s hard to visualize but ok👍 story development if i have to say its mid (as its a fanfic) character design is good(i am talking about our mc)world background its..........a pass as its a fanfic but overall is good if have to say better than some cringe novel/fanfic i enjoyed it but i hoped it was on continue🙂but its completed and many people are talking about shadow spiderman guess they didn’t read till 70 chapter well spider noir was that but i think it was mentioned only 1 time on chapter or 2 then it stopped ~~~~

best spider verse fanfic so far. it will be fun if you add the spiderman games to it but it's up to you
