Chapter 81

The spider and the stone traversed countless worlds, wandering aimlessly through one dimension after another.

Until one day, they suddenly broke through the dimensional barrier and arrived on a spaceship.

This spaceship was emerging from a space station and rapidly descending toward the blue planet below.

"Transcendent one, I beseech you, with this insignificant link, shatter the vast web of time and destiny!" A voice echoed from the distant reaches of time, reaching Mark's ears.

In the final scene, Mark saw the hands of the Master Weaver, which had been locked in chains, struggling to move towards the center as if crushing something with great force.

At the same time, a shining fork pierced his body, eliciting a cry of pain.

"Huff, huff, huff..." Mark's forehead was covered in cold sweat.

However, the slab in his hand began to emit a faint glow at this moment.

The power of time and destiny flowed from the slab into Mark's body.

But this time, it was different from the power absorbed from the particle stream in the collider.

The temporal power contained in the particle stream of the collider was like water, filling the tank but not enlarging it.

However, the power that now surged into Mark's body not only "filled the tank" but also transformed it into a "pool."

After absorbing all the power, Mark felt that his internal volume had increased by more than five times!

Furthermore, his physical condition, speed, and even his Spider-Sense had all been enhanced!

His original baseline strength, similar to that of the typical Spider-Man, was around 20 tons.

But now, it was at least a hundred tons!

What did a hundred tons of strength mean?

He had once seen a video of a hundred-ton mining truck rolling over a regular-sized truck, flattening it like a pancake!

And now, if he exerted his full force, he could easily achieve the same level!

Of course, the premise was that his fist was as large as the truck.

This was a small gift from the Master Weaver, originally meant to be obtained along with the Spider Totem.

However, due to a twist of fate, it ended up in the return pod of that spacecraft.

If Mark had initially acquired the stored power from the slab and then crossed over to the world of Miles, he wouldn't have performed as he did before!

After quickly assimilating his newfound power, Mark opened his eyes and came back to his senses.

He found himself still in the position of his back pressed against the ceiling.

The slab in his hand remained the same slab, but the Spider-Sense was no longer connected to it.

This indicated that the power attached to it from the Master Weaver had completely vanished.

At this moment, he finally understood what his true power was!

Time was the foundation, and destiny was the core!

The power that had emerged from the slab earlier, expanding the "tank," was none other than the "power of destiny"!

By altering the established destinies of the Spider-Men on the "vast web," making them head towards better or worse futures, he could harness the power of destiny that operated in the background, making himself even more formidable!

With the mastery of this power, he was destined to no longer be confined to a single world.

He would become the ultimate globetrotter in parallel universes!

However, he wondered why the Master Weaver had referred to him as the "Transcendent One." Or was it originally meant for someone called the "Transcendent One," but it had ended up in his hands by mistake?

Old questions were answered, but new ones arose.

Yet, this question was even harder to trace than the origins of the slab and the spider.

Unless, one day, he defeated the Inheritor family, found the Master Weaver, and asked him in person, he might never get an answer.

So Mark decided to stop dwelling on it.

At least he had now figured out the origins of the slab and the spider.

The slab was indeed a product of Earth, but not this dimension's Earth; it was from the Master Weaver's Earth.

As for why its composition was so similar to the one on this side's desert, it was probably because the temple where the Master Weaver resided used the same type of stone.

Even though the development processes of different multiverses varied greatly, with some still in prehistoric times, some in the future, and some not even inhabited by humans, Earth was essentially still Earth.

The minute quantum variations in a state of extreme micro could not be detected with modern technology, so it was naturally assumed to be a product of this Earth.

Perhaps before long, the slab imbued with the Master Weaver's power that Mark had absorbed would disintegrate into nothingness due to the issue of quantum collapse, vanishing entirely from this spacetime!

Mark quietly left the room, and with a flick of his sleeve, he took nothing extra with him, except for the slab.

Among the gifts from the Master Weaver, besides giving him the ability to manipulate destiny threads to absorb the power of destiny and strengthen himself, he had also gained an understanding of some other things.

The entire "multiverse" was actually divided into three dimensions.

However, these dimensions were not the conventional "one-dimensional space," "two-dimensional space," or "three-dimensional space" as people commonly understood, nor were they like the ten dimensions such as the "Microverse," "Negative Zone," or "Higher Space" that existed within the Marvel Universe.

Instead, they were defined based on different spacetime threads.

Interestingly, Mark discovered that if classified this way, the live-action film version, the animated version, and the comic book version were actually in different dimensions.

The timeline of the live-action film version was nearly the same, and the flow of time was basically consistent with Mark's world.

However, the animated version deviated significantly from his world, and the timelines were all jumbled up.

In normal circumstances, Mark should have initially traversed from the live-action film dimension, which was closest to reality. But at that time, he had just awakened his abilities, was watching that movie, and coincidentally sensed the particle flow within the particle collider. This led him to skip the live-action film version and directly enter the animated version.

As for the comic book version, there was essentially no concept of a timeline. Some worlds' time even looped infinitely, just like a comic with only one page – when you reached the last panel, it repeated back to the first.

There were also timelines with larger, endless loops, jumping from the future to the present and so on, making it all look quite chaotic.

Mark didn't know if the Master Weaver could see these hidden things beneath spacetime like he could. After all, from the way the Master Weaver had acted, it seemed that he grasped many parallel universes through the "Web of Life and Destiny."

Mark, on the other hand, relied on his quantumization abilities to sense the different quantum changes on this vast web and observe events within it.

While his powers might have originated from the Master Weaver, their manifestations were entirely different.

Perhaps he had gained some new elements while traversing numerous parallel universes.

However, this didn't stop him from fondly naming his discoveries: the Film Dimension, the Animated Dimension, and the Comic Dimension!
