"Damn it, what the hell is he, and why does this Spider have so many strange abilities?" Brix voiced the thoughts of all the inheritors.
Daemos frowned, "This is the most unique 'Spider'; I even sensed a scent on him similar to that of the Master Weaver! I wonder, could he possibly be the successor of the Master Weaver?"
"That's impossible?!!" Bora exclaimed in surprise.
Ignoring his sister's shock, Morlun looked at Daemos, "Are you suggesting he might be the new Master Weaver?"
Daemos nodded.
They conversed casually, paying no attention to the casualties among their minions.
The recent battle with Mark had made them realize that his strength was immense, far beyond any enemy they had previously encountered.
Except for the Master Weaver.
Their battles with the Master Weaver hadn't been much of a strain, to be honest.
Apart from their mother dying in battle, the fight had surprisingly gone smoothly, almost as if the Master Weaver had held back.
But none of the inheritors, including Solus, dwelled much on this.
In their minds, they were supposed to dominate the Master Weaver. How could the Master Weaver possibly show mercy to them?
However, in reality, the Master Weaver had indeed shown mercy, after all, he was the future Karn.
And Karn's ultimate goal in all this was simply to use these inheritors to "turn over a new leaf," to make them less inclined toward hunting and destroying various totems across the multiverse.
Since it was all part of the plan, he naturally wouldn't resist too much.
During their exchange of information, Mark had already directly eliminated more than half of the thirty or so minions Verna had brought!
Although these minions were also labeled as super-villains, in reality, they were not the cream of the crop from various worlds.
Their strength was limited.
Encountering someone like Mark, who acted without mercy, spelled misfortune for them.
Of course, perhaps this was also a form of release.
After all, no matter how villainous they were, they still retained their independent personalities.
But once they became minions of the inheritors, brainwashed and corrupted, where would their independent personalities be?
Each strike from Mark carried the force of hundreds of tons.
Even if some of the minions were enhanced with super-genes or wore armor made of unknown alloys, they couldn't withstand his attacks.
Describing the current situation as a carnage couldn't be more fitting.
These minions, originally quite powerful, were already a force to reckon with, but the Namurrah semi-mechanical men modified from ordinary people in this world were even more so.
Their materials were only slightly better alloyed steel than normal, yet even large-caliber firearms were enough to penetrate their defenses.
"Are you all rested? Then let's continue and finish him off!" Daemos stretched his muscles, cracking them audibly, and snarled menacingly.
"Yes, brother!" Brix and Bora were already impatient, considering their side's overwhelming power against Mark.
Come on, if the five inheritors couldn't handle this Spider, how could they still consider themselves great beings who had hunted countless spiders?
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh—
The five rushed swiftly from their respective directions toward Mark's position.
"The main course is here, so I don't have time to play with you all!"
Mark slashed the sky horizontally with the flame blade formed by his quantum ability, silently cutting through half the sky with its spatial cutting ability.
This atom-level cutting sliced everything it touched in half!
Hunters, vultures, and Namuraah semi-mechanical men were all cut into halves and plummeted downward.
It was like a rain of blood!
However, this kind of attack also burdened Mark significantly.
It made his breathing slightly frantic.
Bang!
Morlun's fist landed on Mark, slamming him straight into the ground below.
"Have you experienced quantum magic?" Mark's voice came from underground.
Boom!
The earth suddenly rose, eventually forming a giant made entirely of rocks, trapping Morlun and Bora in its hands.
With a forceful grip, both individuals screamed in pain.
Daemos flew forward and smashed the stone giant's head with a punch.
But the next moment, the shattered head restored itself.
Meanwhile, Brix punched the wrist of the hand holding Bora, breaking it, and barely managed to save his twin sister.
Morlun growled lowly, and his body suddenly expanded, trying to forcefully pry open the stone giant's hand.
At this moment, all the rocks suddenly transformed into rolling stones, flowing towards the location where Morlun was held tightly.
In a matter of moments, a massive stone sphere, with a diameter of over a hundred meters, appeared on the ground!
The Stone Sphere occasionally trembled, a result of Morlun's struggling inside.
"Shatter it!" Damon roared, rushing towards the stone sphere.
Though he didn't particularly like Morlun—there were no conventional emotions among the inheritor siblings—he knew Mark's strength was significant and couldn't afford to lose such a powerful aid like Morlun.
Following Daemos' command, Verna also leaped over from the other side.
However, at that moment, a massive portal appeared, instantly enveloping the massive stone sphere, and just as quickly, it vanished, transporting it away.
Simultaneously, the stone sphere emerged abruptly in a deep part of the Atlantic Ocean.
The immense water pressure compressed the already tightly bound stone sphere even further.
Now, no matter how much Morlun struggled, there was no way for him to get out.
Daemos howled in frustration but was helpless.
At that moment, Mark once again opened several portals.
As the portals opened, a colossal jet of water gushed out!
This oceanic water was bone-chillingly cold and, due to the immense water pressure, the jet of water was as fierce as a high-pressure water weapons.
Brix and Bora, the twin siblings, were instantly submerged in this water flow.
Then, Mark extended his hand, sending the two of them into the mantle.
"You bastard, where did you send them!" Daemos roared, charging towards Mark in fury.
Verna, meanwhile, turned pale.
She initially thought Mark was a manageable opponent but never expected that, facing their five-person assault, he could easily send three of them away.
Now, with only the two of them, it became even more challenging!
Mark smirked, "Don't worry, they're not dead yet! Just providing a fairer battleground for our rematch, what do you think?"
"I don't think so!"
Daemos charged fiercely.
However, halfway through his rush, Mark disappeared once again!
