Paul starts pacing the floor and cursing to himself. "This is not good." Paul worried. "What kind of evidence do you think she has on us?" I ask. "She doesn't. She's making stuff up." Elliot answers. "But what if we weren't careful enough?" I questioned. Elliot looks surprisingly composed for a man who's getting sued. "We were. Don't worry, okay?" Elliot tries to comfort me. "How can we not? She's about to sue you to the ground!" Pauls shouts. "Guys, calm down. Mina just wants her five minutes of fame, that's all. Besides, if Fabian saw us here at any moment, he would have noticed how crazy in love we are." Elliot responds. I feel my cheeks turn pink, and butterflies take flight in my stomach. "Right, Evie?" Elliot asks me. "You're right. I'm pretty sure we never slipped up. There's no way she could have something on us." I answered. "That's what I've been saying." Elliot kisses my forehead. "Don't worry. Let's go back to having a good time, okay?" Elliot comforts me. "I'm down for that!" Thea empties her full glass in one swift motion. "Who wants a refill?" Thea asks out loud. "You?" I replied. Everyone starts laughing and looks more relaxed. "What? I haven't had this much fun in forever! I want to party!" We all raise our glasses again and have a good time. Ten minutes later, Elliot's phone starts to vibrate on the table. Elliot picks it up and walks away. "That guy needs to chill with his work." Pauls commented. "Well, he's a big cheese in Hollywood. It's probably not easy to leave work at home when you're such an important producer." I responded. Elliot comes back a moment later and sits next to me. He has a stern expression on his face, looking almost haunted. 'Is everything alright?" I asked. "Uh, yeah. Just work," he gives me a smile, but it doesn't reach his eyes. "Hmm... Why do I feel like he's hiding something?" I thought to myself. The next day... I throw my arms around my best friend, hugging her tight. "I wish you could stay a few more days. I'll miss you so much!" "Don't be silly. We'll see each other in a week tight?" Thea asked. "Of course. You'll be the first one I call when we get back." I tell her. "I better be!" Paul gives both Elliot and me a firm handshake. "Thanks for Inviting us here, it's been great. I hope the rest of your vacation will be drama free." "One can only hope." Elliot responds. "Bye, you two!" We watch as Paul and Thea leave, hand in hand. He is carrying her luggage like a gentleman, and she beams up at him, smiling. "I have to admit...they look really good together." I say to myself. Elliot gently grabs my hand and squeezes it. "Let's go back to the hotel and enjoy the pool for a bit." 'Sounds perfect." Two weeks pass in a blur. With Mina and Fabian gone, we could finally relax and enjoy our honeymoon. I could, at least. Elliot never stopped working. He even managed to sign over another celebrity while we were drinking cocktails at the beach bar, so we decided to celebrate it on a cruise. "I'm proud of you, congratulations." I congratulated Elliot. "Thank you" We both raise our glasses filled with champagne and take a sip. "I've never been on such a fancy yacht before. It's so big, you get lost for hours." Elliot chuckles. "Of course, this isn't anything impressive for him." I say to myself. "So, what do you want to do tomorrow? How do you feel about paragliding?" He asks me. "Actually, I think it's time to go home." I responded. He pauses for a second. "What?" "We've already been here much longer than we were supposed to." I explained to him. "We were supposed to leave two weeks ago, but Elliot keeps extending our stay at the hotel. There must be a reason for that..." I thought to myself. "So? I thought you liked it here?" He questioned me. "Of course, I like it here! But it's time to get back to reality, don't you think? What's going on, Elliot? Is something troubling you?" "I guess." "Then what is it?" I asked. He sighs before answering. "Bunny called two weeks ago, the night before Paul and Thea left." He answers. "When we were at the club?" 'yeah." "Bunny? Is he talking about some playboy girl?" I think to myself. "She told me she wanted to meet my new wife. She was hurt that I didn't invite her to the wedding." Elliot let out a heavy sigh. "I guess the least I can do is to invite her for dinner." He explained. "Who's Bunny?" I asked. "Please don't let it be a model with long, spider legs." I said to myself. "She family." That makes me relax a little. "The sunset looks really beautiful tonight." Elliot changes the subject. "Changing the subject, huh?" I thought to myself. He's obviously uncomfortable, so I decide not to push. "Yea, it does" I agreed. "You're right, though. We can't stay here forever. But let's enjoy this cruise first." He gives me his famous devilish smile. The next day, on our way home... I look at the seats in awe. "Wow, first class?" "What else?" "You're really used to this, aren't you?" I questioned. "There's a long flight, and I want us to be comfortable. Is that a crime?" "if it is, then I should punish you for it." He smirks. "I'd like to see you try." he leans in for a kiss, but before our lips can even brush, an overly eager woman in her early twenties ambushes us. "Are you Elliot Anderson?" The lady asks. "Yeah, that's me." She puts her hand over her heart. "O-M-G! I'm such a big fan! I can't believe Elliot Anderson is on the same plane as I am!" Elliot's face looks like he just swallowed a lemon. "What a coincidence." Elliot responds. "Nobody is going to believe me! Can I take a selfie with you?" 'Of course." She pulls her phone out of her pocket and leans over to Elliot to take a picture. She kisses him on the cheek before she snaps a photo, and he freezes. She immediately opens it to show him and squeals. "We look so cute! I can't wait to show this to my friends. Maybe your friend can take a picture of us too?" "Actually, she's my wife." he corrected her. The girl starts gaping and blushing, obviously embarrassed. "Sorry, I didn't mean–" She takes a few steps back and puts her phone in her pocket. "I'll let you enjoy your flight. Thanks for the picture." the girl scurries back to her seat. "That girl seriously overstepped the boundaries. Do they usually bother you like this?" I raged. "Sometimes." My mouth pulls in a straight line, and Elliot smirks. "Jealous, are you?" he teased. "Of course not! She was ridiculous." "If you say so." I glance through the window to see that we're moving. A few minutes later, the plane starts to shake, and I instantly tense up. "Relax. It's just a little turbulence, it's normal." Elliot comforts me. "I don't feel so good." "What's wrong?" "I feel a headache coming." I tell him. "It's the pressure. It will pass." Elliot takes my hand and gives it a light squeeze. He starts running circles on my skin with his thumb. "Try to get some rest, okay? Put your head on my shoulder." I do as he said and close my eyes. After a 30-minute nap and some food, I feel a lot better. The lights have been dimmed, and most people on the plane are sleeping. "I'm bored." I complained. "Me too." "So many hours until we land. What are we going to do to pass the time?" "I've got a few ideas. How about we watch a movie instead?" He questions. "Sounds good." Many hours later..."It's so good to be back!" "yeah. There's no place like home, is there?" Elliot replies. I smile and leave my jacket on a hanger. "I'm pretty hungry." "Same" "Do you want to go out for dinner?" Elliot asks me. 'Uhh, I'm too tired. The trip home was exhaustion." I declined his offer. "Let's just order in then." 'I didn't expect a famous person like you to be someone who orders delivery." I teased. "I do express delivery, of course." I roll my eyes at him, and he laughs. "What are you in the mood for?" He questioned. "I'm in the mood for Mexican food." "Mexican food it is." Elliot goes on the phone and orders for us. "I'm gonna take a shower. They should be here in fifteen minutes or so." Elliot disappears into the bathroom. Five minutes later, there is a knock on the door. "Wow, they're quick" I open the door and there stands a woman I've never seen before. As soon as she sees me, her face breaks into a cold smile. "You must be Elliot's wife"
