Chapter 27 Replenishing Equipment

After the completion of the token transaction, the members of the four clans were about to leave when suddenly Harry spoke up. They couldn't help but stop in their tracks and turn to look at Harry, all wearing expressions of confusion.

This included KOC-SolarFlare. After obtaining the Faction Establishment Token, he had intended to leave immediately. However, upon hearing Harry's words, he hesitated for a moment and also stopped.

"I have 80 gold coins here. Who wants to buy them?" Harry knew very well that in the early stages of the game, the most valuable item was gold coins. If he didn't sell them now, they would depreciate, and it would be difficult to gather the major clans together again.

As soon as Harry finished speaking, the members of the four clans were stunned. Then their eyes widened, and they gasped in disbelief, their faces full of astonishment.

80 gold coins, that was terrifying.

Stormbringers-Jagger 's eyes gleamed. He couldn't compete for the token, but he had to buy these gold coins no matter what. It was still the early stages of the game, and what did 80 gold coins mean? Even if they combined all the gold coins of their entire clan, it would probably be around 15. And that was accumulated by countless players killing monsters.

KOC-SolarFlare sized Harry up. This guy had so many valuable items on him. 80 gold coins, that were probably more than the combined total of all the clans present.

Of course, he couldn't ask Harry how he obtained them. After all, there were so many people around, and Harry might not even tell him.

Frostbite-ScarletRose looked at Harry. She suddenly felt that this guy was full of mystery. The Faction Establishment Token, the gold coins, he probably had other things as well.

She could let go of the token, but she had to fight for the gold coins no matter what. Her clan was originally composed of female players, and most of them could only rely on quests to earn gold coins. Unlike other families who went out to kill monsters every day, although they would occasionally do that to level up, they were still women, and their main source of gold coins was usually through purchases.

The rest of the players had the same idea. After all, in the early stages of the game, the importance of gold coins to a clan was indescribable.

...

As expected, everyone's eyes lit up and their minds heated up. They started bidding one after another, and they did not give in to each other, almost causing a collision.

Harry stood at the side helplessly. He didn't expect these gold coins to be so valuable, even more so than the previous auction of the Faction Establishment Token.

Seeing the chaos around him, Harry couldn't bear it any longer. He couldn't let things continue like this. If the relationships between the major clans deteriorated again and ultimately turned against him, it would be unlucky.

"How about this? Since there are precisely four clans, I will sell 20 gold coins to each clan. How does that sound?" Harry said.

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone froze for a moment. They stopped arguing and fell silent.

What Harry said made sense. The people from these major clans were not stupid. They knew that if they continued to compete like this, it would not benefit anyone. Other accidents might even happen.

In the end, according to Harry's instructions, each family spent 20,000 dollars to buy 20 gold coins each before slowly leaving.

Harry was extremely excited. Thinking about the sudden increase of more than three million dollars in his bank account, all of this was like a dream. He couldn't believe it at all.

"Savion, how about we add each other as friends?"

Just as Harry was feeling excited, a pleasant voice suddenly sounded in his ears.

Harry quickly raised his head and saw that Frostbite-ScarletRose had appeared in front of him and was smiling at him.

The two were very close, especially Frostbite-ScarletRose, who intentionally approached Harry, full of temptation.

Harry felt a faint fragrance, making his heart tremble and his breath quicken…

"Beauty, let's talk properly. If there's nothing, don't trick me." Harry quickly said. To be honest, he wasn't in the mood to chat with the beauty at all. All he could think about was the three million dollars.

At the same time, looking at Frostbite-ScarletRose's fair neck, Harry inexplicably couldn't control himself and blew a breath gently.

Suddenly, Frostbite-ScarletRose's body trembled, feeling a strange sensation all over her, and she quickly covered her chest, her face turning red.

Harry chuckled and disappeared in a flash of white light.

"You…" Seeing Harry disappear, Frostbite-ScarletRose gritted her teeth and stomped her feet in anger. He just ran away after taking advantage of her.

...

Exiting the game, Harry hurriedly opened his phone. after confirming the authenticity of the text message, he became ecstatic.

"It's over three million!" Harry pinched his arm quickly. It hurt, really hurt.

All of this felt like a dream, making Harry unable to believe it. His mind was buzzing, and the excitement in his heart was indescribable. He felt like he was living in a dream.

After a while, Harry gradually calmed down.

His stomach grumbled, having only eaten a little of what the landlord's daughter brought earlier. He quickly entered the game.

Ding!

[System Prompt: Player Frostbite-ScarletRose has sent a friend request. Do you accept?]

...

Harry had just logged in when a system notification sounded. After careful consideration, he accepted the friend request. After all, she was wealthy, and it was good to keep a friend in case he obtained any items in the future, he could contact her in time.

The surrounding players had already dispersed. Harry pondered for a moment and decided to find the village chief to pick up a quest. After such a long time, there shouldn't be many players at the village chief's house.

According to the game rules, player avatars couldn't overlap, but NPCs could interact with multiple players.

Harry arrived at the village chief's house, and as expected, there were fewer players. Although it was still crowded, it was manageable.

"Village chief, is there anything I can help you with?" Harry squeezed his way to the village chief and quickly asked.

"Warrior, so it's you. I happen to have a quest here." The village chief raised his head and saw Harry. He smiled and said in a hoarse voice.

Ding!

[System Prompt: Triggered quest, do you accept?]"

[Quest Name: Obtain Wild Boar Meat]

[Completion Condition: 0/20]

[Quest Reward: 100 EXP (Doubled)]

[Quest Reward: 10 copper coins]

[Quest Description: The wild boars are just outside the village. Remember to deliver the wild boar meat to Mrs. Shaw.]

...

After accepting the quest, Harry didn't linger and went straight out of the village chief's house, heading quickly to the wild boar area outside the village.

Arriving at the wild boar area, there were many players around. Most of them sent team invitations after seeing Harry, but he politely declined them with a smile.

Harry found an area with fewer players and started to farm wild boars. Without a doubt, the magic attack bonus of the two pieces of equipment allowed him to kill a wild boar with a fireball.

In just over ten minutes, a system notification sound confirmed that Harry had completed the quest. He hurriedly returned to the village and delivered the wild boar meat to Mrs. Shaw.

Looking at his experience points now at 750/2000, still needing over 1,000 more to level up, Harry sighed. He didn't know how much more experience he needed to reach level 10, but based on the current situation, it would take a long time.

After confirming there were no more quests from Mrs. Shaw, Harry immediately returned to the village chief's house, only to find out that even the village chief had no more quests.

Harry was speechless and walked out of the village chief's house. Although quest experience was high, it was limited.

It seemed that he could only go and kill monsters to level up, but the low-level monster areas were crowded with players, while the higher-level monster areas posed a certain danger to Harry, just like the Giant Spider before.

After thinking for a long time, Harry felt that it was time to strengthen himself.

Of course, he could allocate attribute points to enhance himself. He hadn't touched the 35 attribute points he obtained from leveling up.

But Harry didn't plan to allocate attribute points just yet. Instead, he looked at the gold coins in his backpack.

He had sold 80 gold coins to the four major clans, leaving 20 gold coins for his own use.

Now that he had enough money, Harry planned to replenish his equipment. That way, he wouldn't have many difficulties killing high-level monsters.
