"We had come over the mountains and entered the valley at Cressio," Faye noticed a glint of fire in his eyes as he spoke of the battle. "Little did I know I had made a major miscalculation and was leading us into our deaths that fated day." He reminisced.

"As we cautiously stepped into the vast open valley, the horizon stretched out before us, exposing us on all sides. I remember the silence in our ears was deafening, the only sound being the crunch of our footsteps on the dry earth."

"The air that day carried a hint of the devastation to come. I should have listened to my instincts. My first clue should have been the absence of wildlife. Even the birds had stopped chirping.
