Things got really quiet for a while, and soon I came to realize why. For three whole weeks I hadn't run into Liam, the tension his presence created, had died down and things were returning to how they used to be. At first I'd been curious to know what happened to him, did he finally give up? Or was there something he had to deal with back in London?

I chose to go with the latter, the reality of Liam giving up was just not feasible. I wasn't trying to make myself more relevant than I was, I just couldn't picture Liam giving up, it wasn't in his character to quit before he got what he wanted.

It didn't matter anyway, it was best to keep away from him and anything concerning him. Troubling myself with thoughts of him was not good in any way whatsoever.
