A Happy Life

Anna

Liam walked in the second I planned on leaving the house. I've been trying to reach him, but he wouldn't answer, and now I could tell why. He reeked of alcohol, and could barely stay on his feet.

I aided him to the comfort of the couch before laying him there to rest. It was a miracle he didn't crash in this condition. What was he even thinking? Driving in such a state?!

I had wanted him to watch after Aaron while I was gone, but he clearly was incapable of handling such a taxing job, not in this type of condition. Aaron was asleep currently, but he would soon wake up. I wanted to use this opportunity to visit the location father had sent him in our chat, but that would be for another day. I couldn't leave the house, not when I had a baby and a drunk husband in the house.
