An Explosion

Amelie

The sun streamed through my car windows, as I approached the school premises. I took a deep breath, the air carrying not only the fragrance of relief, but also the sweet scent of liberty. Knowing that I could walk around without being harassed by Liam everytime I left the house was a big relief.

Being lost in my sense of freedom, I stumbled into a stranger. He was tall, his skin labeled with so many tattoos, and on his face was a look of disgust and contempt.

"Watch where you're walking bitch!" He yelled before pushing past me rudely. His words were harsh but I didn't let them get to me.

Thinking back, I've never actually seen him around here before. His appearance and character seemed completely out of place. The people I've met here were so nice and friendly, bumping into kinds like him was always a shock.

It took a while for me to shake his cold eyes out of my mind, and only then did I continue my walk towards the nursery.
