The Delivery Man II

I bolted downstairs, my heart pounding like a drum. Hassan and Junior were downstairs, oblivious of the impending threat. If they got the door before me, then our lives could be in serious danger.

Panic surged through me, and I knew I had to act fast. Who on earth keeps sending these people after me? There were many things going through my mind, but one objective screamed the loudest—I had to stop Hassan from opening that door.

With the mop in hand, I hurried towards the front door faster than I've ever done before.

"Hassan!" I hissed, my voice trembling. I would have screamed out his name, but it was best to pretend like nobody was home.

He turned to look at me, surprise and confusion in his eyes.
