It was a last minute decision, but Hassan and I finally agreed to stay at my father's place until we were able to get ourselves a new house. Although father already knew about the school incident, Hassan and I agreed to not disclose to him everything about the situation.

There was no telling how he would be able to handle the information. Knowing father very much, he would probably overreact. We were very alike in character, and most times I used myself to gauge him.

Right now we wanted to keep a low profile and watch how the following days would play out. If we tell Emmanuel Lodge about the current situation, he might not take it well, and might cause a big scene. He might decide to tighten security around the area, which would make the neighbors curious. They would begin to ask questions, and before you know it, everybody knows about my situation.
