Friends....

Liam.

It had been a while since I'd seen Casmir, and his unexpected visit to my office brought a mix of emotions. I couldn't deny the fact that I was happy to see him doing well, but beneath the surface, a thin layer of hatred was trying to grow. Casmir had betrayed me in the worst way possible, and I was yet to forgive him completely. Although I was doing my best to get rid of the hate, it wasn't an easy process.

As he walked into my office, a warm smile on his face, I pushed aside the anger that threatened to resurface and stood to greet him. "Casmir, it's good to see you."

With no sense of embarrassment, Casmir walked forward, ignored my outstretched hand and embraced me. The room fell silent and I couldn't help but feel a touch of awkwardness in our hug. Brothers hugging each other wasn't supposed to feel awkward, but it did for Casmir and I.
