The Vipers

Junior

I remained with Olivia throughout the entire day. She seemed traumatized by everything that had happened, and each time I caught sight of the bruises on her body, my anger and hate for Aaron seemed to grow. I was disappointed in him, all I ever did was care for him, but now that he had shown his true colors, it had become difficult for me to see him in a different light.

"I know what's on your mind," Olivia said to me, her soft voice drawing me away from my thoughts. "He was drunk, I'm sure it's just a mistake. I don't want you to hate your brother." She said, and all I could do was pity her for being so Kind Hearted. It was probably because of her kindness that Aaron had taken advantage of her. He knew she would always advocate for him as a friend, so he decided to exploit her kindness.

"You're going to speak on his behalf when he won't even admit to his crimes?" I asked, stunned by the fact that she would ask for me to forgive Aaron.
