All these small changes would force many to adopt a faction-based system to protect themselves. He had lived in such a society and although his standing did not allow him to meddle in such stuff, it did not mean that it was a foreign concept.
If he was not scheming enough, how could he still keep his job?
One had to know that in the era of AIs, people would lose jobs too easily, and many had to look for new ways to make money.
Content creation was one such avenue. Although AIs could indeed work more efficiently in this aspect, they still needed human imagination to advance the industry. After all, AIs just analyzed human work to base their products.
This was also the reason Arc Technologies did very well in this industry. While their focus was on games and they mainly focused on VR and AI technology, they did use their powerful generation power in other areas.
There was no way they would use AIs to make VR games without testing them on other media. It was also this method that gave them a lot of clout in the entertainment industry. Everybody wanted to work there. Without schemes, he might have already lost his job.
That aside, his thoughts were very simple.
Of the five games that merged, King Avatar was the only game that did not have native characters or NPCs. Everything was done by a system and the management of the whole story was left to AIs. Even the algorithm for generating Bosses was managed by AIs.
It could be said that the players were invaders that invaded a foreign mysterious realm full of dangers and opportunities.
And that was how he wanted it to remain, a mysterious realm. But that could be arranged later.
What he basically did was give a lot of political power to the Avalon Kingdom by giving them the authorization rights for the institutes.
The King was already very powerful and all the other governments from the different games kept them at a safe distance.
They had few enemies and even fewer friends. Although it was known that the King and the Pope did not get along, in those in the know, it was just a lover's spat.
They were childhood friends and everybody expected them to end up together. But the Pope class did not allow it. The Pope was a beauty and according to the plot, her purity was preserved for the Hero.
It was a last-minute power-up or in technical terms, an 11th-hour superpower. It was more appropriate to call it an Eighth-hour power-up.
She could not marry and the King had to have a bride when he came of age, thus a political marriage. But the Pope was jealous and they had been going against each other at every turn.
But now that they had this power, they had to team up at some point, and he could see that factions would start to sprout.
The church was also not a clean place. At that time it was just a backstory to push the story, but now things were bound to get complicated.
He was sure that factions would start from within the kingdom and the countries outside would be forced to support a side.
He could also enter this mess with his authority as admin, but this was not his goal.
It was better to let them play and give him time to carry out his plan. He already had a vague outline of what he wanted to do, but he still needed time to establish himself.
He also did not want to expose his identity. It was better to be a boss behind the scenes and control the world by setting standards.
But he could think of that later after he was done with all these configurations.
Factions would also distract them from the truly important matters. But that was for them to worry about. It was best if there was a war, but that would probably not happen.
Right now, he had more important things to worry about.
Map distribution was done in different ways in all five games. This led to a rather strange phenomenon, where lands of different regions appear in the waters of other regions.
It was a wonder how they dealt with this issue, but that was not his problem. He only needed to straighten out the maps and take advantage of whatever he could.
He brought up the chaotic map of this new world and he was speechless with what he was seeing.
While he did not know how this world came to be and how it was running, he knew that at least 80% of it was digitized. Meaning that most things here were data bodies.
As for why he thought 80% instead of 100%, it was because of his existence.
He could not understand how he came here and what force merged these worlds. They were no longer games but worlds.
And the way the worlds had been running until now was a mystery. The mess he had cleared up was too big. It might have been in a few chapters, but he was feeling like he had spent days working.
It was a good thing that he did not seem to get exhausted and his processing power was too insane that he did not want to think about it.
The panels in front of him had multiplied endlessly and he somehow could see all of them at the same time.
And he was inputting data directly with his mind. It was too fantastical, it was better not to think too much about this matter. He would naturally find out when he was powerful enough.
The Maps had overlapped and it looked like some regions were floating above other land masses. It was too bizarre.
He did not think much and decided to start working.
He had already decided to place the Avalon Kingdom in a strategic power position and he was going to do that. But first, he had to take care of King Avatar maps.
