Isn't that guy too weak?

Hearing what she said the young man's grin widened. " Isn't a bit too late for that."

The girl's eyes widened in astonishment staring at him in disbelief, no not at him but right behind him. At the same time he realized that something was wrong about to turn his head around, all the hair on his body stood, his body moved by instinct to the side in a blur while throwing the dagger in his hands at his previous position.

"No bad." Adrian who was now standing where the young man stood previously commented carefreely with his right hand clutching the dagger aimed at his chest.

The young man at the other side of the room was scared to the core. All his body senses were screaming at him in alarm to get away from the room as fast as possible. Everything happened so fast his brain couldn't register everything in real time. Adrian's comment brought him back to his senses looking at him wearily.

At the same time the three bodyguards accompanying the young man came out of their stupor. They had been stupefied by the turn of events but Adrian's comment brought them back to their senses making them alert.

On the other hand, the girl's eyes didn't blink while staring at Adrian. To her, all that was happening was a dream that's why she didn't dare to blink afraid she would wake up if she did.

Adrian lifted the dagger to have a good look at it. He looked like a buyer in a market appraising an item. It looked like an ordinary dagger with a dark hilt while the blade was smooth with a silver metallic luster. He could tell with a look although it was ordinary, the blacksmith did a good a job crafting it.

His eyes moved down from the dagger to meet

two silver glassy eyes that shined like two silver rubies staring at him. The moment the two eyes met, the girl flinched but her gaze never left the black figure's. Although she couldn't see Adrian's face due to the hood, she could tell he was looking at her. It took all the courage she had not to move her eyes from him.

Seeing her actions made a small smile appear on Adrian's face but that quickly disappeared as a voice came from the side.

" Who are you?" It was the young vampire who had now calmed down.

" Shouldn't you introduce yourself first? You know what, don't bother." Adrian answered in a carefree attitude without turning his head which made the young vampire fume with rage.

His expression changed a couple of times as if he was hesitating on something. He looked at the silver ring on finger then at Adrian then back the ring.

He held out his hand as a bottle appeared in the air and was suddenly caught by his hand. From the dangerous aura he felt from Adrian, he had decided to take him seriously.

" Oh no! Don't let him drink that potion." The girl shouted the moment she caught sight of the bottle from the corner of her eyes.

Upon hearing the shout, Adrian turned to the young man with intrigue as he let the guy drink the potion.

After emptying the bottle, the young vampire smashed the bottle onto the floor. An inhuman howl was released from his mouth. Adrian saw his features changing. Cracks appeared on his smooth pale skin, it's colour also turned brownish.

His skin now looked more like scales, hard and rough. His face was gone, replaced by some sort of a demonic aspect. His eyes were round and dark, his nose became longer and pointy.

The teeth in his mouth were now sharp, not only his two fangs. The two fangs had become even longer and intimidating. His height also increased while the muscles on his body became bulkier.

He looked as if he had became a humanoid bat. Adrian could feel the guy's aura had intensified, but he didn't seem to care.

" You've gone mad." Adrian said in an uninterested tone.

" Hahahaha!" the guy let out a wicked laugh.

It seemed like the transformation had also changed his voice.

It was huskier and was totally unrecognizable!

" I am mad? I am not, it's just that I have become more powerful, be prepared to face your own demise. " he laughed coldly as he pounced at Adrian before completing his sentence.

He had the features of a bat in his appearance as his face was distorted, while saliva was dripping from his mouth and his eyes had turned pitch-black from the transformation.

Those were signs that he had lost his mind.

He was not using any weapon, but the nails in his fingers had deformed and formed long claws.

Bam!

Boom!

rumble!

A stomp from the foot had imprinted a huge pit on the floor, added to the dilapidated nature of the building, the floor near the wall together with a part of the wall could not withstand the force and collapsed with a rumbling sound.

The young vampire was like a bomb as he lunged towards Adrian at high speed. His claws had turned into blades as they cut through Adrian but instead of being happy, he stood where Adrian stood previously with a confused expression. He didn't feel the sensation of his claws cutting flesh.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

At the same time the young vampire moved, Adrian moved at the same time.

The confused vampire abruptly turned when he heard the thudding sounds but right as he turned his body arced backwards as Adrian's leg connected with his abdomen from the side. All the air escaped his lungs making him open his mouth wide and his eyes wide as his body shot out like an arrow crashing through the walls to the next room stopping at the third wall.

Grwaargh!?

Boom! rumble!

Boom! rumble!

Bang!

The result of the kick surprised even Adrian himself. " Isn't that guy too weak?" He muttered to himself.
