When The Player Gets Played

  " Anny, please don't do it. Haven't we begged enough?" Toria's voice echoed in my head. I sighed. My friends are hell bent on making me change my decision about Rio and so far they're succeeding. It's all of them against just Amy.


  " It's very hard for a guy like Rio to brave up and come tell you how he feels. Don't break him like this" Toria said.


Toria cut in before I could even finish.


  " Oh please! Keep Amy out of this. She didn't have what it takes for a guy like Rio to fall in love. But you do Anny and you have to make good use of this advantage" 


  " Toria, you're sounding like I even like this Rio of a guy " I said.


  " You may but you're so into breaking his heart and soiling his reputation that you cannot see it "


I sighed and stared at the phone in my hand. Maybe she's right!


  " Anny, you wouldn't like Styles to do this to you, would you? But you'd agree with me that you have broken a lot of hearts too" She reasoned.


  " Then don't do this!" she said. Somehow, she had managed to change my mind. I ain't gonna do this, Rio doesn't deserve it.


  " You know what? Just gimme some time to think " I said and with that , I left them to the school's garden. There I sat and started to think everything through all over again.  It's true actually, Amy didn't have what it took for Rio to fall. She made herself too cheap and that's where I had my advantage. Rio doesn't actually deserve to be hurt this bad.


   Just as I decided not to, Amy ran in on me crying. Jeez! What happened now???


  " Its Rio. He made fun of me in front of his friends. He called me... he called me a whore. He said I gave myself cheaply to someone who didn't even love me. He called me a slut, Anny!" she cried.


  " Anny, please upload the video. Do it Anny, please" she held my hand as she said this and squeezed them tightly.


I was just about to say that I couldn't but she didn't even let me.


  " Anny... no buts. Anny... you promised. Rio has made me hate myself. it's not my fault I fell for him. It's not but I feel so stupid" She said. I was helpless, I couldn't say no! Amy's like my best friend and I promised her. Plus, why would Rio worsen all of this by saying that? I can't possibly go back on her now.


  " Please Anny... I want to watch him go through what I'm going through now. I want to watch his shame" 


  I still couldn't get myself to do it. This is gonna be a big blow to Rio's face. Seeing him beg a girl to love him, that'd be quite some news for a while.


  " Anny!" Amy yelled, her voice shaky.


  " What are you thinking? you can't go back now. You can't hesitate. You promised! Anny... please..."


  I'm sorry Rio! I have no choice at this moment. I slowly took up my phone, opened up my social media and searched for the video. I looked at her as she sobbed and did it. I pressed Send and uploaded the video to the school's media. I'm really sorry Rio....
