At night, Hazel went to the training field. He had gathered more points than he needed today, so it was enough to buy a [Training Potion] and a [Stamina Potion]. He immediately bought it without hesitation.
[Your total purchase is 400 points. Do you want to use special points or affection points?]
Hazel chose special points, and the items immediately arrived in his inventory. He took them out and drank them.
After drinking all the potions, Hazel wiped his mouth and said, "Shall we begin our training?"
Hazel stripped his cloth and did some warm up exercise. After feeling warmed up enough, he began the training.
The purpose of today's training was to familiarize himself with [Body Reconstruction]. First, he activated his aura.
[Aura Ignition: Nature]!
Green flame seeped out of his pores and covered his entire body. Even though it was shaped like a flame, it didn't burn him. In fact, he felt explosive power flowing throughout his veins. This was the aura, a special technique that could only be mastered by special practitioners.
When he activated his aura, he gained a 100% increase in his physique power. However, in this mode, almost all his mana was converted to aura, so he couldn't use spells when his aura was active, but luckily, he could still use his abilities because abilities could use both mana and aura as fuels.
Though there was something he could use freely when he was activating his aura, and that was his aura's special property. When using the aura's special property, he didn't need to consume aura or mana as long as the aura was active. In Hazel's case, he could use [Body Reconstruction] as much as he wanted.
Even though he could reconstruct his body freely, Hazel still needed to master it because modifying the body was a dangerous thing. If he wasn't careful, he would experience an error that could end up taking his life.
Luckily, when he activated [Body Reconstruction], Hazel gained a passive ability to understand and feel the condition of his body. This ability was so detailed he could feel the health of his inner organs. Not only that, he felt like he could feel more details about his body when this ability leveled up. His instinct told him so.
Hazel was intrigued to level up his aura for sure, but the purpose of this training was to familiarize himself with his [Body Reconstruction].
Without further ado, Hazel started the experiment. First, he imagined the skeletal structure of a man. Then, he added the bone's density. After that, he also increased the elasticity of his joints.
Just by imagining them, Hazel knew he had modified his skeleton. With all these reconstructions, he expected his overall physique to be enhanced.
"Let's try it." Hazel immediately rushed out and circled the training field. The training field was quite big, but he could circle it quickly.
Hazel stopped at the spot where he stopped. He looked back and smiled widely. He was quite satisfied with his progress. However, it was still too fast to feel happy because there were some things he needed to test.
The next thing he did was test his strength. He did it by punching a sandbag. He started it with a few jabs just to feel his fist, and the result was beyond his expectation. He could throw a few jabs in almost an instant, and his fist left a few holes in the sandbag.
Due to his new explosive strength, he felt it wasn't enough to test his strength on a normal sandbag. He changed his target toward an iron scarecrow that was standing not far from him. This was the punching bag for people who had superhuman strength, so it was an appropriate target for him.
Hazel assumed a stance and launched a straight punch. As his fist hit the iron scarecrow, the iron wobbled like sea waves. His punch made the solid iron look like a flexible object.
"Did you use your full strength?" Mircalla asked, seemingly amazed by his result.
"I did. I guess I can stop testing my strength now."
Hazel moved away from the iron scarecrow and entered an isolated room. In this room, there were many holes in the walls, floor, and ceilings. If people had trypophobia, they would fear this room, but its purpose was not to disgust people. This room was where students could train their reaction time.
Hazel didn't bother to remember how this room worked because he wanted to train his reaction time. He let his body react to the surprise element.
Knowing something would come to him, Hazel didn't feel wary. Instead, he relaxed his body. By doing this, he expanded his point of view. Not only that, his sense became heightened. In this condition, he was ready to welcome surprises.
Hazel waited for a bit. After a moment, one of the many holes fired a black ball. This ball flashed in the air and became a black streak as it approached his back.
Hazel didn't see the ball coming, but his ears heard the collision of an object against the air. Thanks to that, he knew which direction the ball would come, so he tilted his head, and the ball passed over his shoulder.
The ball missed him and entered one of many holes. However, it wasn't the end of the surprise. Four balls suddenly came from below, above, front, and behind.
They approached him at the same time, and they were going to one specific point. Hazel just predicted the point they would collide. After that, he moved away from that point.
As the balls collided and bounced off, eight more balls approached him again. However, he still could evade them easily.
After that, 16 balls were coming. This time, he needed to actively move around. He leaped forward, dodging 8 balls. However, it wasn't over yet. 8 more balls were suddenly about to hit him. Those balls were just a few inches away from him.
Hazel could block them, but that wasn't the purpose of this training. He would keep evading until he knew his limit.
"Don't disappoint me, C grade agility!" Hazel shouted as he twisted his body and danced, evading those 8 balls.
"Good! Keep them coming!"
As if responding to his request, 32 balls came out of the holes before the previous 16 balls disappeared.
Hazel. Hazel leaped to the air, dodging the first 8 balls. Next, he flipped his body in the air, and the second 8 balls passed him by. As he landed on the ground, he immediately twisted his body, evading the third 8 balls. Lastly, he flipped around as he leaped out, dodging the last 8 balls.
"This is not even my limit!" Hazel exclaimed, but as 64 balls came to him at a faster speed, he realized he had reached his limit. He could barely evade 8 balls before 56 balls hit his body.
---
After knowing his reaction speed limit, Hazel stopped the training. His body was covered in dirt. All those balls squirted out dirt when they hit a living being, encouraging people to dodge them properly.
Hazel was annoyed that he couldn't dodge those balls, but the result was not that bad. His reaction speed was great for someone with C grade agility and perception.
Hazel wanted to train more, but his body was dirty, so he went to the bathroom inside the training field and took a bath.
After a while, he came out of the bathroom with a clean outfit. Luckily, he brought spare changes for this situation, so he could train himself until the effect of the training potion and the stamina potion expired.
"Should I train my axemanship?" Hazel thought. His base was an ax user, so he felt weird to neglect training it, but he could train many things.
Feeling confused, he asked Mircalla, "What do you think, Mircalla?"
Mircalla came out of the ring and floated around him again. When he took a bath, she hid herself inside the ring. After he was done, she had the courage to come out again.
"You have been training with the ax all your life. The discipline must have been ingrained in your soul and body. Besides, you can't advance as an ax fighter in a short time. You may as well focus on the other things you have but are not familiar with."
Hazel rubbed his chin. "Tough choice. I guess I will train my special property again. I can familiarize myself with new moves like turning my body into weapons."
"A decent choice. I estimate you can learn a new application in your special property in two days. However, there is a better choice."
"Hm, the only thing I have left is my [Power Slash]."
"I wasn't referring to that third tier technique. You seem to forget something about your aura."
Hazel frowned. "What did I forget?"
Mircalla didn't answer. Instead, her body emitted a red aura, and she gradually descended to the ground. She extended her hand and said, "Touch my aura by a bit. You will understand."
Hazel complied with her words and extended his index finger toward the red aura. As the tip of his finger touched the aura, he immediately pulled his finger again.
"Ouch!" Hazel looked at his index finger and realized the tip of his finger was charred black and emitted smoke.
"Focus on me, Hazel!"
Hazel ignored his pain and looked at Mircalla. She was usually a soft hearted and gentle person. That was why he was feeling a bit afraid when she was serious.
"Your aura is an elemental aura. It naturally has a natural property. Fire aura can burn. Lightning aura induces electricity. Wind aura blows wind. Water aura produces water. Your nature element aura is the same. Nature aura can grow every plant that exists in nature."
