chapter 4 Evolution

I was a bit confused but I somewhat understood what he said, then i saw a purple glow envelope me I looked around and saw the same glow around everyone around me. then I felt the rumbling again and I felt a rush of energy, the ground beneath me started to crack i tried to get away but it kept cracking, but it wasn't just where I stood, I looked around me and saw cracks and people tried getting away, from the cracks, then i felt the energy around me increase, I felt refreshed, I felt powerful even.

[the purple glow around you is a minor force field created by the elder guardian to protect you from the destruction caused by the earth's recalibration while you absorb cosmic energy to evolve]

"evolve, I guess the earth isn't the only thing that would undergo evolution, and I guess everyone received the same message."

the ground beneath me split, i thought I would fall into the crack but I didn't, instead I was floating, and so was everyone around. It seems that others have finally realised that panicking isn't of much use and have adapted to the situation. although there were occasional screams here and there as they watched buildings crumble and the ground tear apart, I heard cracking sounds like then I looked behind me and saw the walls of the security guards quarters crumbling, I panicked and tried running or rather floating away but I wasn't fast enough and the building crumbled on me and the people around me, they screamed and I thought we were done for until i felt..... well I felt nothing I looked up and saw pieces of the crumbling building bouncing off our bodies, and even large debris didn't hurt us. I guess the purple energy around us really protects us. I felt another rush of energy. there was more destruction but also we saw plants growing bigger than they usually would, then they would decay, and then grow again. The ground would split and reform, it was crazy.

Then the voice spoke again

"I would love for you all to stay on earth during this evolution but planetary evolution could take months or years, and I can't maintain the protective barrier know put around you for that long, the guardians will arrive soon to take you to another planet, and evolved planet with whom I'm friends with its elder guardian. be prepared immediately after your evolution is complete you will be taken away." Few minutes after he said that, i saw a man in full blue medieval style armour with the helmet and everything. But he wasn't the only one, dozens of them appeared around some people started to panic while others where relatively calm, well as calm as you can be considering all that just happened.

The armoured men and women that appeared didn't move an inch it seemed like they weren't bothered at all about what was happening.
