Chapter 19-fight

Lynn's POV

Karl and I were both somewhat afraid of Marilyn. It's hard to say whether it was out of respect or fear. Anyway, when she asked us with such a light tone, even Teacher Joey, who had tried persuading her for a long time, finally managed to open up and speak.

The issue today wasn't actually about us. Although Karl wasn't someone who actively sought trouble at school, getting into fights was unavoidable. As a young Alpha full of hot blood, he would resort to violence over even minor matters. Fortunately, he knew how to control himself and had no intention of landing himself in a police station at such a young age.

In the afternoon, after finishing my meal at the cafeteria, I planned to go to the school's small supermarket to buy some stationery I needed. I wasn't familiar enough with the layout of the school, so I only knew the general direction of the supermarket. Without paying attention, I took a wrong turn and ended up on a secluded path.
