With the approaching vacation, students visibly grew restless, and even the teachers couldn't help but smile at the lively atmosphere. During the break, the classroom was filled with students chattering and laughing. Mechelle entered through the back door and casually tossed a box of chocolates onto my desk.

"From Ann in Class 4," she said.

I remained focused, engrossed in solving problems with a black water-based pen, scribbling formulas at the margins of my textbook. I acknowledged her words with a simple "Hmm."
