Chapter 36-garage

Lynn's POV

Having heard about Karl's mischievous actions, my anxiety only grew. However, I managed to maintain a composed expression, seemingly unaffected, while listening to Teacher Joey's final remarks from the front of the classroom. I had an air of confidence that could intimidate anyone.

Karl couldn't help but mutter a few words in disbelief, still puzzled by my calm demeanor.

As soon as the dismissal bell rang, I , who had been sitting calmly, suddenly rushed to pack his things and sprinted out of the classroom. A gust of wind brushed past him, leaving Karl bewildered as he turned around, but I had disappeared from sight.

I hurried all the way to the school's garage, which covered a large area. Running at such a fast pace, I was left panting and drenched in sweat when I finally arrived at the somewhat secluded corner where Marilyn parked her white sports car. The car was motionless, like a dormant and sleeping leopard.
