Chapter 98-Strange

Cecilia's POV

Sighing, I lowered my gaze and stepped out of the courtyard, heading towards the main road that led to the front gate of red valley Mountain.

The more you fear something, the closer it seems to get. Marilyn and Lynn had asked me to go and fetch Karl back.

I sighed again, thinking about how to approach Karl.

I turned onto another path, and within a few steps, I saw Karl standing at the entrance gate. He was indeed engaged in a conversation with another boy.

It had been a week since I last saw him, and he was dressed in a stylish baseball jacket and light blue jeans, looking more eye-catching than usual.

He had white earphones hanging around his neck, and his hair had grown slightly longer, brushing against his eyebrows. He held a phone in his hand, seemingly ignoring calls.

I stood there, watching him for a while. He and the boy continued chatting, oblivious to my presence.
