chapter 100-a long time ago

Karl's POV

As the rain grew heavier, I walked inside and closed the window. Cecilia noticed my actions and instinctively took a step back.

"Even if we've met before," she tightly clasped her fingers, "it doesn't mean anything. It was three years ago, and we haven't had any contact since."

I raised the window latch without objection, then sat down and slowly started gathering the art supplies scattered on the floor. After a while, I spoke.

"You don't know."

"Before you turned 15, you always kept your hair in a short bob because you attended a boarding school for middle school, and you didn't want the hassle of long hair."

"You were an excellent student, but due to your background, you could only go to Rouge School, where the uniform was red and not very attractive. Everyone would take off their uniforms as soon as they left school, but you were always the one to keep it on."
