“And just exactly what in the actual f*ck happened last night!?” I growled, turning to look Mira in the eyes.


Was this happening because she had chosen Blaine as her mate? I was consumed with fury. Clearly, this had all been all part of his plan to get me to surrender and leave her alone with him.


My wolf threatened to make an appearance at just the thought of Blaine touching her. 


“Absolutely nothing happened!” Mira insisted, glaring wildly at Blaine.

“Blaine, that’s enough already!” Mira hissed. “Would you please give us a minute?” Once Blaine begrudgingly left, Mira turned to me. “I’m so confused! Trae, is the crest gone from your arm?” she questioned.


“One of the wolves is gone, and the shield as well,” I nodded, showing it to her. 


“But your arm still has the moon and one wolf… What does it mean?” Mira wondered, her eyes desperately searching my own for an answer that they did not have.
