After brutally killing the nine-tailed evil dragon, both the aberrant tooth dragons assaulting the red dragon Altres and those observing from the sky scattered in all directions, fleeing for their lives.
This time, Muria did not pursue but instead took out the Starfall Bow, drew the bowstring, and then, gathering an arrow, shot it. The leader was already dead by his hand, and he had no interest in continuing the fight.
With each arrow fired, an aberrant tooth dragon exploded into flesh and bones from the sky, falling to the ground. After seventeen arrows, not a single tooth dragon remained in the sky. The rest had been killed by Muria in the brief aerial battle that had just taken place.
"Prince Muria?" The red dragon Altres, still bearing nine ominous black wounds, approached cautiously and called out tentatively, eyeing Muria.
This was the first time it had seen Muria in his Dragon Titan form. When they first encountered each other, it was overpowered and beaten senseless by Muria in his dragon form, without any chance to fight back.
Now, seeing Muria dominate the field in his Dragon Titan form and slaughter the evil dragon, it was astounded. The difference between the two forms was significant, and there was a huge change in aura.
Normally, in his dragon form, any creature seeing Muria would mistake him for a pure-blooded golden dragon, except for entities on the level of Bahamut.
Altres, evidently, was one of those creatures, so seeing Muria's Dragon Titan form left it somewhat bewildered. However, the six serpentine dragon horns on Muria's forehead were enough to prove his identity. Such crown-like horns were not something any dragon could possess.
"Hmm." Hearing the red dragon's hesitant call, Muria nodded, then his body shimmered with light, slowly shrinking to become the black-haired, golden-eyed youth familiar to the red dragon.
"You're not a purebred giant dragon?"
"Obviously."
Hearing Muria's response, Altres showed an expression of frustration and conflict, having submitted to a half-dragon, "Then, what is your other half?"
"What do you think?" Muria looked at Altres with a playful smile. Such a towering humanoid form could only belong to one kind of being throughout all of Eralasia.
"Titan!" The red dragon's expression brightened. In Eralasia, due to the scarce number of Titans, they were considered legendary beings to dragons, and even ancient dragons might not encounter a Titan in their lifetime.
"You should know what to say and what not to say at your age," Muria warned the old dragon, not wishing for many creatures to know about his Titan bloodline.
"I understand." Altres nodded rapidly, like a pecking chicken. Although most beings had never seen a Titan, the legends associated with them were widely circulated. Any intelligent creature, barring complete fools, would understand the might of a Titan through these stories.
Altres finally realized just how powerful the "thigh" it had chosen to cling to was. Now, it had no other concerns.
Even if it could live to the era of ancient dragons, following a Titan wouldn't be considered a loss, for a Titan was bound to ascend to the peak of legends within a millennium, becoming the strongest existence beneath deities and myths.
"Prince Muria!" Altres approached Muria with even more respect than before, rubbing its claws awkwardly, "May I clean up the battlefield?"
"Go ahead!" Muria nodded, allowing it to collect the spoils of dead dragons. Although it hadn't played a significant role, it had still put in the effort.
"With the leader taken care of, humans can deal with the rest." Muria surveyed the battlefield, littered with charred bodies and bones. Despite the short duration of the battle, the damage to the surroundings was extensive, with craters everywhere, suggesting that a heavy rain could turn this place into a landscape of freshwater lakes.
"Call Fiona and the others to gather here; there's a place worth exploring," Muria mused, conjuring lightning and wind to form a special crystal, inscribing his message before sending it off.
This was a simple messaging spell, seeking out its target based on a pre-established mark, a convenient form of tracking magic with range limitations.
Lightning, fire, and wind represented forms of Muria's power, higher forms of energy compared to the mana in human mages, suitable for both attack and spellcasting.
"Before they arrive, I'll look around myself." Muria scanned the surroundings. Having read Yun Yu's notebook, he had speculated about the castle's location.
This area was likely where Yun Yu stumbled into the legendary mage's demiplane, thinking that just one entrance had granted him a life-changing power, anyone would desire to enter again and eventually control it.
A masterless demiplane, even Muria was tempted by the prospect, a possession only the most legendary mages could claim.
As Muria landed on the ruins of the half-destroyed castle, a familiar voice echoed in his mind, "Prince Muria, your Void Egg shows signs of hatching."
"Cassio?" Muria's face showed surprise, unaware of the distance to the Titan Isles but amazed his spirit could still reach him.
"How can you still contact me?"
"Prince Muria, born of your blood, we share an indissoluble bond. Except for some special places in Eralasia, no matter where you are in the world, I can contact you, and you can contact me."
At Cassio's explanation, Muria was taken aback, unaware of such a broad communication range, "Where would our contact be disrupted?"
"The divine realms of gods, the Endless Void."
"…" Muria fell silent, then recalled Cassio's initial statement.
"The Void Egg is about to hatch?"
"Yes, I've pinpointed your location and will send the about-to-hatch Void Egg to you."
"How will you send it?" Muria asked, puzzled, "This egg from the void devours all matter and energy it touches."
"I've communicated with it; it's excited to meet you and has contained its devouring power."
Combat power = Realm + Lineage + Skills + Weapon
