Chapter 321: The Arrogant Old Dragon

"Scram! You lowly mongrels." Confronted by a group of flying creatures like wyverns, manticoras, and harpies, the nearly hundred-meter-long red dragon Altres revealed his true form and let out a roar, spreading his dragon's aura.

In an instant, some of the weaker flying creatures fell from the sky like rain, crashing to the ground with broken bones and torn muscles. They couldn't withstand the oppressive aura of a peak spirit red dragon, which caused their limbs to stiffen and made it impossible for them to stay airborne.

"Powerful red dragon, we are subordinates of Lady Bronia." Casting a glance at the fallen weak creatures, a drake with mottled scales spoke cautiously.

"Inferior species, you have no right to speak to me." Altres looked disdainful. "Summon a true dragon."

Being scolded in such a manner by a powerful red dragon, the mottled drake clenched its claws. Despite feeling aggrieved, it had to maintain enough respect on the surface; such was the reality for the weak in the presence of the strong.

"Please wait, mighty red dragon." The drake suppressed its anger and flew towards the distant monster camp to notify a sufficiently powerful pureblood dragon.

"What are you doing here?" Not long after, a spirit level three blue dragon, accompanied by a group of blue-scaled drakes, flew over, replacing the monsters that had surrounded Muria's group. "Are you here to pledge allegiance to Lady Bronia?"

"Ha!" Hearing the old blue dragon's words, Altres chuckled coldly. If he had encountered Muria before, he might have considered giving up his freedom to follow an ancient red dragon in the face of irresistible force.

But now, the choice between a dragon with boundless potential and a salted fish of an ancient red dragon, who was actually invaded by humans, was clear.

"We are here to find Renata Igneel." Altres looked down upon the blue dragon, much smaller than himself, regaining his sense of superiority.

"Renata Igneel?" Hearing the name of the young female dragon, the blue dragon's eyes suddenly became very complex.

"It seems you know where she is?" Seeing the change in the blue dragon's expression, Altres's mouth curled slightly, revealing his sharp, white dragon teeth as a hot breath steamed against the blue dragon's bony armor.

"What do you want with Renata?" The blue dragon, smelling the strong scent of sulfur, suppressed its anger and flapped its wings, retreating a bit.

This old blue dragon saw more than just the arrogant red dragon before it; it noticed the green-haired men and women behind him, and most importantly, the young man lying on the back of the two-winged white tiger.

From their positions, actions, gazes, and movements, the old blue dragon could almost confirm that the arrogant red dragon was not the highest in rank; the real boss was the one behind him.

As the old blue dragon covertly observed Muria, Muria, feeling the gaze, looked up and met its eyes.

"Roar!" When the old blue dragon saw Muria's golden eyes, a thrill ran through its body, compelling it to let out a low roar. In Muria's eyes, it saw a world filled with thunder, flames, and hurricanes.

Recognizing the look, the blue dragon realized this was a big shot it couldn't afford to provoke, an existence far more terrifying than the arrogant red dragon before it.

"Ha!" Seeing the old blue dragon's reaction after sneaking a glance at Muria, Altres smirked, delighting in the dragon's shock. He knew how formidable Muria had become.

After consuming the Heart of the Elements, the dragon scion could no longer control the continuously growing power within him, so looking into his eyes, one would feel the three terrifying forces that could make dragons tremble.

"It's my liege who wishes to meet Renata, nothing for you to worry about." Altres looked at the still trembling old blue dragon. "Just lead us to her."

"Alright." The old blue dragon, holding its trembling claws, thought for a moment and agreed to guide this seemingly formidable group of dragons to Renata. Whether they came with good intentions or malice, it didn't really care, as it wasn't targeted at him.

If possible, the old blue dragon hoped these dragons came with malice, preferably to get rid of Renata, the young red dragon seeking glory at the expense of her brother. The power she held was too enviable among dragons.

"Muria." As the old blue dragon led Muria's group across the seemingly endless swarm of monsters to find Renata, a joyful cry echoed through the air.

"Hmm!" Hearing the familiar voice, Muria yawned and sat up from Troy's back. Opening his eyes, he immediately saw five dragons—one red, one blue, one green, and two black—flying towards him.

These were the dragons his mother, the Golden Dragon Queen, had exiled to this continent, all except for Auston Igneel.

Leading them was Renata, whom Muria knew well. She had sensed Muria's arrival and came out to greet him specifically. Her feelings for Muria had never changed.

"Igneel Regent, I've brought the dragons you wanted to see. I'll take my leave now." Seeing Renata's attitude and expression, the old blue dragon realized its hopes had been dashed and left with a strange farewell, preparing to leave with its kin.

"Bluehide, is that how you speak to the commander?" As the blue dragon attempted to leave, a bright red dragon claw grabbed its tail. When it turned around, it saw Altres giving it a chilling smile.

"Let go, red dragon." The old blue dragon was infuriated by such disrespect. Chromatic dragons are generally short-tempered, and here, in its territory, surrounded by monsters at its beck and call, it wasn't afraid of the red dragon two levels stronger than itself.

"Hey!" As the blue dragon seemed ready to fight, Altres, who had already grabbed its tail, sneered, his forty spirit rings flashing briefly.

"Boom!" The eighty-meter-long blue dragon was smashed into the ground by Altres. Flesh flew, not from the blue dragon but from the monsters crushed by its fall.

"Crackle!" Intense lightning danced over the blue dragon's body. It was furious, but before it could react, Altres's tail whipped the dragon, sending its electrically charged blue scales flying and flipping the dragon stuck in the ground.
