"Uh," Muria's expression stiffened slightly. Now, having shed his Holy Radiance Armor, he appeared just as he did at birth, with his Titan body, dragon horns on his forehead, and wings on his back. This sight caused Elashu, in Samuel's hand, to once again burn with anger. This guy had claimed he couldn't remove his armor when he was beating him up.
"I was lucky and ate something special, which is why my strength increased so quickly," Muria responded somewhat helplessly to the inquiring gaze of the seraph girl in front of him. This reunion wasn't exactly as he had imagined, but it wasn't bad either.
"Is that so?" Mikaela frowned. She felt she couldn't defeat Muria now. When they were at the same level, they were evenly matched. Now, with him a whole level above her, she stood no chance.
"Mikaela, this guy has fused with divinity," Elashu said resentfully. Having fought Muria for so long, he could sense the divine law within Muria's body, though weak, it was something no newly legendary Titan could control.
"I merely used it to comprehend the laws," Muria said, looking at Elashu with a blank expression. He remembered piercing this guy with the Spear of the Sun and marking him. Elashu better pray he never falls into his hands again.
"Oh!" Mikaela examined Muria, a thoughtful look crossing her face. She was considering whether to use external aids to break through, as Muria had, to catch up with him. Otherwise, the gap would remain, delaying their duel indefinitely.
"By the way, is this related to you?" Mikaela pointed to the ten or so cloud cities scattered by the battle between the Dragon Kings and the seraphs.
She could see that the Dragon Kings were quite restrained, not going overboard. None of the cloud cities had fallen yet, which said a lot.
As a result, the seraphs were equally restrained, leaving it to the Raphael lineage to handle without offering help. After understanding the reason, they were even less inclined to intervene.
This conflict originated from a poorly raised descendant who couldn't keep his mouth shut. If it led to a war between the dragon and seraph races, it would be absurd.
"It should be, probably has a little bit to do with me," Muria said, feeling somewhat guilty as he looked at the star dragon before him.
"Muria, there's no need to probe. It's because your grandfather Deimos told us about your situation that we came," the Starshine Dragon King said, glancing at Elashu, whose eyes were ablaze with anger, then at Muria and Mikaela. The light of wisdom flashed in his eyes; he seemed to have discovered something.
"Hmph!" Samuel put his descendant down and chuckled humorlessly. He was worried he might crush him in anger. He decided that after this incident, he would exile Elashu to the edge of the world clusters to fight against the evil god's minions in the void. He wouldn't be allowed back until he reached the peak of the legendary level.
"What happened?" Mikaela asked. She was utterly surprised by today's events—three Dragon Kings breaking into the seraphs' core area in an instant, with the outer defenses being completely ineffective.
Since no one had dared to attack the seraphs' territory for so long, especially after they allied with the Titans, the guards had become lax, and the defenses were only at minimal operational levels.
Mikaela was particularly impressed by the blue-scaled Dragon King who brought an ocean with him, displacing the Raphael lineage's cloud cities to create a battlefield. His power was astounding.
"At the root, it's because of this guy," Muria pinned all the blame on Elashu. He didn't think he had done anything wrong. Not cutting off Elashu's head was already merciful, although mainly because he didn't have time. "He insulted me first, leading to all of this."
"The situation wouldn't have escalated if this guy hadn't broken the rules and intervened in the fight," Osvaldo added. He despised those who intruded into his domain, disregarding his presence.
"I've explained many times," Samuel said angrily. "I just wanted to save my descendant. I caused no loss or harm to you. Instead, my descendant was beaten up by this half-blood Titan."
Samuel felt even angrier at this point. Not only was his descendant beaten up, but he also had to compensate due to the insult "bastard." The price he had to pay was significant. Even with the Dragon Kings attacking, he had to endure it because they were in the wrong. The strength of the dragon race and the influence of the Platinum Dragon God were also major factors.
When everyone has comparable strength and doesn't want conflict, reasoning is the only way.
"Muria, did you defeat Elashu while at a lower level?" Mikaela's eyes sparkled. Her focus was always unique. This scene made Osvaldo feel slightly uneasy, so he put Muria down, no longer holding him in his hand.
"Yes, I completely defeated him," Muria said proudly. Defeating a seraph descendant while at a lower level was worth boasting about, especially in front of his crush.
"Impressive!" Mikaela praised, making Elashu's face flush red with an urge to vomit blood.
"Muria, you only won because you had better equipment than me," Elashu said, feeling humiliated as his rival exposed his most embarrassing moment in front of his goddess.
"But wasn't your strength greater than Muria's?" Mikaela countered. "Even if Muria's equipment was better, how much better could it be? Muria used his equipment to bridge the gap in your strengths. What's wrong with that? You lost, so stop making excuses."
"I..." Elashu's face turned red and then black. This time, he felt a massive psychological blow, more painful than Muria tearing off his seraph wings.
