"She's a pretty girl," the incarnation of the Starshine Dragon King said, eyeing Mikaela with an increasingly bright gaze.
"Starshine, you're over forty thousand years old!" A handsome Seraph appeared silently next to the Starshine Dragon, looking at it with indifferent eyes. The wings of light behind this suddenly appearing Seraph were already blazing.
"What are you thinking?" The battle between the Dragon King and the Seraph had stopped. The starry sky formed by the Starshine Dragon King's incarnation turned into beams of starlight and merged back into the Starshine Dragon, making the magnificent dragon's body grow larger and its aura continuously rise, not weaker than any existence. "At my age, how could I possibly have any thoughts about such a young girl?"
"Heh." Seraph Aludiba sneered, "Haven't you Dragon Kings done enough of this?"
"Look closely, I don't even have a body right now." The Starshine Dragon King was somewhat helpless. Some Dragon Kings were indeed promiscuous, but don't lump him in with them—he was innocent. "Strictly speaking, I'm just a beam of starlight."
"Is transformation between reality and illusion difficult for you?" Although Aludiba was smiling, his eyes were extremely cold. The flames on the wings behind him were more intense than ever, distorting the space around them. It looked like if the Starshine Dragon King's answer didn't satisfy him, he would attack.
"I just want to ask when this young girl met Muria." The Starshine Dragon King felt the pressure locked on him and suddenly felt exhausted. If a fight broke out, it would be to the death. "Even if I were that kind of Dragon King, I wouldn't stoop to competing with juniors for a mate."
"Hmm?" Aludiba frowned slightly. "What do you mean by that?"
"Just what I said." The pressure on the Starshine Dragon King disappeared, and he immediately felt relieved. Fighting a furious Seraph with a granddaughter complex? No, thanks.
"Aren't you concerned about your descendant's feelings, Aludiba?" Epic Sovereign Oswaldo asked with a smile, having already seen through the situation. "You're quite an incompetent elder."
"Feelings... mate..." With the conversation laid out so plainly, Aludiba would have to be an idiot not to understand. His gaze first fell on his granddaughter, but Mikaela looked calm and even raised her head to meet his eyes.
"Is something wrong, Grandfather?" The Seraph girl asked in confusion. She didn't understand why, after all the other Seraphs had left, her grandfather suddenly appeared, ready to fight the Starshine Dragon King.
"Nothing." Aludiba silently turned his head and looked at the four-winged Seraph nearby, shaking his head. Too humiliating, he thought, it was the first time he'd seen a Seraph with their wings torn off.
"What are you looking at? Look at this one." The Starshine Dragon King reached out a dragon claw, poking Aludiba and then pointing at Muria with the other claw.
"..." Aludiba turned to look at Muria, scrutinizing him with slightly surprised eyes. Under this gaze, Muria couldn't help but feel a bit shy—after all, this was Mikaela's immediate elder.
"Lord Aludiba!" Muria greeted very politely, glancing at Mikaela beside him, trying to appear natural and not leave a bad impression.
"You're the Muria who had a duel with my granddaughter?" Aludiba looked at Muria, inexplicably finding him somewhat displeasing. "Broken through to Legendary already? Quite fast!"
"He broke through so quickly; he's not inferior to your granddaughter, right? Don't you think they make a good match?" The Starshine Dragon King couldn't help but interject.
At these words, the surroundings fell silent for a moment. Muria felt his heart racing, nervous but also very grateful to the Starshine Dragon King. He'd have to thank this Dragon King properly when he got the chance.
The Ten Rulers remained expressionless, still contemplating the pros and cons of a certain matter. Behind Muria, Epic Sovereign Oswaldo had a kindly smile on his face.
But Seraph Samuel's expression was different. His face turned green, and so did that of Elishu beside him. "Nonsense! How can a half-blood Titan-Dragon King be a match for a Seraph?"
"So what if he's a half-blood? Do you think Titan blood is unworthy? Or Dragon King blood? Or both?" Mountain Dragon King flew over, questioning sharply. After all, he was a ground dragon, a pure-blooded mix.
"Probably thinks both are unworthy! In his eyes, only Seraph blood is noble." Oswaldo chimed in, relentlessly mocking the Seraph.
"I never said that." Samuel was furious. Even he wouldn't dare utter such words, or he'd be banished from this world cluster.
"So they are worthy?" The Starshine Dragon King teased.
Samuel glanced at his descendant, sighed, and said nothing more. There was no need; his descendant was completely ruined, beaten by Muria to the point where Mikaela, the top genius, wouldn't even look at him. Only the strong gain everything, while the weak lose everything.
"Aludiba, what are you hesitating for? Don't you see your kin thinks Muria and your granddaughter are a good match?" The Starshine Dragon King kept goading, ignoring Samuel's ugly expression.
"Starshine Dragon King, the Seraph race forbids intermarriage with other races, regardless of gender. That's the rule," a Seraph who had just fought with the Dragon King said coldly, walking over. "No one can break it."
"Rules are dead, but life is alive. Don't be bound by rules," Thousand Waves Dragon King interjected, understanding the situation and immediately offering support.
"Some rules are meant to be broken when they're made," Oswaldo said with a smile. He understood matchmaking, and it was even more delightful to see Samuel's face.
"Aludiba, what are you hesitating for? Your granddaughter is of age and should find a mate. Look, I think this boy is good. I highly recommend him," the Starshine Dragon King added, showing great elder-like demeanor.
"Do you like Mikaela?" Aludiba asked Muria.
"I do," Muria replied without hesitation, looking up. This time, he wasn't timid. Fifty years of time and a long distance had only deepened his feelings for Mikaela.
