The Sin That Can’t Be Forgiven (1)

"Wait for me! You can't walk around so recklessly!" Argenis called to Riwan who was trying to leave by himself.

"Ha! Witness the destruction with your own eyes!" The shaman screamed.

"Who is he?" The wounded dragon asked and pointed at the man caught in the net.

"Probably… The one responsible for all of this. It was his idea to steal the demon's cores and use it for human's greed…" The magician answered. "I will hand him to that knight you trained for a proper punishment later…"

Riwan touched the small improvisational bag made from the jacket as if he knew what was inside. The aura it emitted was clutching his heart in pain.

"I collected them for Noirelle… They deserve to be properly buried…" Argenis explained. 

"This is all my fault… I need to make it right again…" Riwan was still in a state where he couldn't focus, and his thoughts trailed from one thing to another.
