Chapter 14 – New City.

(Why did he suddenly wanted to talk?)

(After we defeated to boss, he suddenly approached me and told me that he wanted to talk with me alone.)

(Did he realized that I'm the real Quicy and some fake or fan using just nickname Quicy.)

"Okay, I think we are far enough for nobody else to hear us. So, what did you wanted to talk about?"

"…I don't want to sound too demanding, but please answer my question."

(Here it comes.)

"Are you one of the people who worked with company that released the game or one of the main game developers?"

"Yes, I- Wait what? What did you said?"

"Are you one of the developers of the game or company worker?"

"What?" – (I was not expecting this at all.)

"No, wait a second. Why do you think I'm the company worker?"

"Because your instruction during boss fight was too clear. You only saw each boss pattern once or twice and you were able to give perfect instruction how to deal with them."

"It would be understandable if there was like red glows in games, signaling the danger zone or something when boss does big attack, but there was nothing like."

"You said it yourself that you are not beta tester and even if you were, this is a complete new monster, so even the beta testers themselves did not know about this monster existence in any way."

"The option of you being hacker is close to zero. The game was only recently released and this is not bloody simple game but extremely high tech one."

"If you were by any chance developer or company worker, you could know the monster attack pattern and just pretend at first like you didn't know it and just pretend that you figured that later on."

"So, was I correct?"

"…." 

"Well, what you just said made a sense and all, but unfortunately no."

"Wait what?"

"I'm pro Esport player called Quicy. My nickname here and the one that I normally is the same. Ever heard of me?"

"N-no. But wait. Can you prove that you are the real one and not some fake?"

"Okay, then log off for the moment and I will post something on the social media."

[Forge had quit the party.]

"Hm? Wait why two of them suddenly went offline?" – asked Hype.

"Don't know. Anyway, check the boots I got! They increases both attack speed and my normal speed." – said Kitty

"Ooo. Cool"

Moment later.

[Player Forge is online.]

"…Holy shit."

(She…. She indeed the real deal. I was not expecting that, at all. That wasn't a fake account but real one, I even checked and the account that made the post was the real one.)

[Player Quicy is online.]

"Told you."

"Wait, but that doesn't explain about how you predicted and figured out boss monster pattern with ease!"

"Oh that? That was my specialty."

Player Quicy is the ace player of the Esport team Horn Bite.

She is known in many different game communities.

Real time tactics. FPS. MMORPGS. MOBA and many others.

The reason why she is well known isn't because of her high win rate, but because of her prediction abilities. 

After observing her opponent play style for the bit, she could then read them and use it for herself, she was reading opponent tactics and course of actions. 

During tournaments, before each matches she would study each player, their personality and their game style. She would also observe the player current playstyle during matches to gather the data. After gathering enough data to predict enemy team pattern, finding loopholes or countering completely them. Simply put, she finds one way or another to read enemy mind as well as their pattern and use it for her advantage. 

Her ability to observe and read through person were both respected and feared by many.

There was often theories or some other stuff saying that she was using cheats. However, all of them were confirmed false each time.

A real talent. – some would say.

(Fuck me. I just checked. She is speaking truth.)

"Fuck…. Well, you are definite the real deal. You won."

"But there is something that I don't get."

"Why did you invite me to friends? Considering how you "Predict" stuff, I can tell that you have something in mind."

"Well, it will take some time to explain and probably there won't be any needs of explaining it in the near future."

"By the way. What was with that "Detective Mode" for the moment?"

"O-oh…I like reading mystery and detective novels as well as comics."

"Well, I used to. Now days stuff is more focused on games, social media and other type of internet stuff. Now pretty much barely anybody writes anything interesting or original, hard to find anything worth reading. There were sometimes some new authors writing something worth reading or very interesting, but I would read their entire work and once again I would end up with nothing else to read. So, yea."

"Anyway, what is the deal with that cool looking sword?"

"I got that from the rewards box from the boss. It's quite nice really and have useful stats. I think I will use it for close range combat."

"Oh right. Kind of completely forgotten about them."

Forge opened the first.

(A dagger and tons of gold huh? The dagger has nice stats and quiet high attack, but it doesn't really suits me. The amount of gold I got is quite big, so I don't have to worry about money problem for a bit.)

"Hm?"

[A giant fang that belonged once to the mighty wild wolf pack leader. The fang itself contains the aspect of the hunger that once resided in wild wolf pack leader.]

(The heck is this? This is obviously a crafting material, but what is the part with contain the aspect of the hunger?)

(This thing is quite big as well, it's also quiet long. The question is, how do I use it? I can probably carve it, but will that work? I still need to run few experiments with monster materials, I guess I should put them right now as priority before messing with this.)

(I got some giant wild wolf fangs from today hunting, maybe I should mess with them first. I could probably make knifes out of them or something.)

"What? Something wrong?" – asked Quicy.

"I got 2 duplicates of the same dagger. I got unlucky."

"Wait, I don't remember you wearing those gloves and shoulder pads before."

"…."

"Em…Luck?" – said Quicy.

"Hacks." – said Forge.

"By the way, what the heck are they doing?"

"Oh right. They wanted to kill Hype after raising the "Death Flag" and almost getting some of us killed. Well, I was able to calm them down a bit to the point where they won't kill him, but only beat him up."

"Oh, well then."

"Guys, could you stop beating him up for the moment?"

"?"

"O-oh, thank you- "

When Hype tried looking towards the Forge, he saw him jump at him with his elbow ready to strike.

"Oh, fuck you man."

The entire group would rest up a bit before PEACEFULLY heading towards the location where one of the beta beginner town was located.

"Huh, well that is new as well." – said Kitty.

[Welcome to the Bronze Forest City.]

"Huh, they transformed the entire place from the town into city. I guess the other 3 beta beginner towns probably got transformed into city as well." – said Kitty.

"Is there any difference if the place is village, town or city? Besides it being bigger."

"Don't know. I guess we should take a look and if anybody find anything interesting inform the others." – said Quicy.

(There way more stuff than in village or town that I was before.)

[A special type of steal that possess anty magic properties. This iron is heavier that regular one as well.]

[A bizzarro version of the iron. Not common color of the iron, however this iron is noticeable lighter than regular iron and it also way more powerful.]

"There is so much different stuff, but the interesting stuff cost way too much. I could probably afford the few, but I should not probably buy them."

(The level restriction on the iron items are already getting quite high and I'm still testing it. If I were to create an item from those higher rank items, I would probably create item with too high restriction to use for any players right now.)

(It's very bad idea to went straight for the high tier materials. There are bronze and steel here as well, I should probably focus on them instead. I should first still use iron and copper for now, for my experiments and stuff.)

"Oh! They sell a bow strings! They are way better than the stuff I was using before!"

[Player Kitty has send you a whisper.]

"Really where?"

For the production class like a [Blacksmith], there are few things they need. 

1. Materials

2. The necessary tools.

3. Special made room or facility that is equipped with necessary equipment like furnaces and other stuff.

At first the first point is the most important and this is correct. Better materials allows you to craft better things.

However, the second and third point are extremely important as well. If a person is planning to focus on item production for the long period of times, it's better to possess your own private smith and tools.

It will be also way better this way, since you would end up saving more money, since you would have no longer need to rent a smith or the tools.

(If I buy the building, I can both use it as the smith and as the shop.)

(However, I can't just buy any building, I need a big one. I need building where I can conduct my experiments in peace and stuff.)

(But there is a catch. Big building obviously cost more and if I want to in any way to modify it or change it for my experiments or just straight up upgrade it, I would have to obviously spent bit of money.)

"Well, screw this all for now and let's look where is the nearest smith located."
