Arsen vs Goblin Sorcerer

Arsen was stupefied after hearing the Goblin Sorcerer speaking in his language. Well, the impression gave him this monster can't speak his language because of the incantation spit by the Goblin Sorcerer while creating a magic circle. Aside from that, he was currently inside the game, so everything could be possible.

Moreover, if this monster had the ability to handle one-on-one conversations, it was just a plain sign the Goblin Sorcerer possessed high intelligence. Unlike ordinary goblins, they were using their native language to communicate.

To begin with, Arsen could feel the intensity coming from the monster's voice, as a result, he raised his guard. In his opinion, he had no idea what kind of attack or spell could produce by this creature, so it would be better if he acted like this. Of course, as an assassin, it came to his mind that he should conceal his presence against the monsters so that his skills would be more effective to them. However, he can't do that right now as these monsters already surrounded him.

It can't be helped, at this point, one thing came up to his mind. Yes, using his newly learned skills was only his option. Suddenly, the crackling sound of the electricity

The lightning turned scattered like a spider web, stunning the monsters and reducing their HP at the same time. Arsen smiled wryly, knowing the effectiveness of this skill. Nevertheless, he didn't stay in that place for too long, instead, used that chance to enlarge his distance against them.

The monsters affected by the skill took a few seconds before they could move their bodies again. Moreover, Arsen utilized that small chance to be separated from these monsters.

This thought came to his mind after witnessing the extraordinary power provided by his ring. A broad smile appeared on his face, he then hid behind the boulder that could be found near the Goblin's camp.

Arsen carefully watched his breathing, avoiding any kind of noises that might attract the monsters. Due to the electricity coating his body, his movement speed got faster, that's why those monsters could not follow him with their keen eyes.

After a few seconds, Arsen took a glance at the place where he could see the ordinary goblins, corrupted animals, and the goblin sorcerer. Based on their actions and expressions, it was obvious all of them were eager to find the exact location of that human. For the Goblin Sorcerer, that human interrupted the dark ritual and stole the sacrifice so he should pay for all the trouble at all costs.

Go, find him!

We should not let him escape!

We must kill him today!

The angry voice of the Goblin Sorcerer surrounded the area, showing how desperate to kill that human with his bare hands.

Arsen, on the other hand, could feel the heavy pressure coming from that monster. At the same time, he was fully aware that he can't leave this camp in the meantime, despite the fact that he already managed to save the Alchemist from the brick of death. Why? This was simple. It was because the system didn't show anything yet that he already completed the given quest.

It seemed like in order to complete the quest, he have to kill these remaining monsters. Of course, it could be really dangerous since he had no idea what the other skills could pull off the Goblin Sorcerer.

He took a deep breath and gently released the air. "I still have $500 debt. If I'm afraid to face this kind of monster, it would be impossible for me to collect it in a short period of time," He said inwardly.

Aside from that, the other players were surely starting to have a grasp on this game, especially, on how to utilize their skills. So if he didn't do something right now, there was a high chance he would leave behind.

After contemplating for a couple of seconds, Arsen commenced making his move. But of course, he liked to damage those monsters without being noticed.

To begin with, five ordinary goblins appeared in his way. The three of them were armed with wooden shields and swords while the other two were armed with arrows.

Sniff... Sniff... Sniff...

These five paused for a second all of a sudden, all of them were using their keen smell senses to locate the player's location. However, before they could do that, Arsen occurred behind one of the goblins, stabbing its neck.

Swish!

Green sticky blood went to his hand while seeing a -73 number over the monster's head. It was the exact damage Arsen inflicted on the goblin. Moreover, each goblin has over 100 health power, meaning he was 25 or more away from killing a certain goblin. Well, he was not that quite shocked by this scene. Or to be more specific, he just simply used his basic attack to stab the goblin so what if he used his skill, definitely, the damage could be higher. Plus, that attack was critical since he aimed for the Goblin's vital point.

Just like in the other games, the players could land a critical hit once they aimed for their vital points or weak points. It could double the basic damage of the attack that the player has used.

Kreek!

The Goblin staggered its footing while holding the hole in its shoulder. The monster's wound releases so much blood, causing it to lose two health points every 5 seconds. At this point, Arsen took the monsters' aggro.

He was fully aware of what kind of situation he was facing right now. Four arrows were heading to his location while the three goblins armed with swords charging him at once. Hmm... It came to his mind that he should kill the wounded goblin first to reduce the possible threat. However, he eventually shook his head.

"To reach its location, I have to use the Blink skill. It's a waste."

Arsen was quite right. Why? Because he noticed the goblin's self-regeneration was not enough for the monster to recover from the damage. Instead, he used the Blink skill at the monster who was standing in the opposite direction. After running for a certain number of meters, suddenly, he appeared behind the other goblin.

Bang!

Soon, a small explosion occurred directly at the place where Arsen was standing earlier. The three melee goblins swung their swords downward, however, they just hit Arsen's afterimage. The moment they figured out where his location when they heard the other goblin scream in pain. But this time was quite different as the goblin's loud voice started to weaken little by little before losing its breath.

This time Arsen learned from his mistake as he didn't conserve his skill right now. Moreover, Arsen seemed not to look finished with his attack as he cast again the remaining stack of the Blink and appeared near the wounded goblin.

In just a blink of an eye, two goblins were lying on the surface without their lives. "Their bodies are releasing heat which made thought this is real," Arsen commented, he then pointed his dagger at the remaining goblins.

Dash!

Without a second thought, Arsen dashed to them. Since he already eliminated the range monsters, it would be more convenient for him to fight in close-range combat.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

After a few minutes, another three goblins fell to the ground. He consumed more minutes to them compared to killing the range goblins. There was nothing to be shocked about since these goblins has the ability to protect themselves using their wooden shields.

During the skirmish, fortunately, he didn't receive any type of damage. So, he immediately took their cores and left the area. By doing that, even though the other goblins discovered this area due to the monster's blood and keen senses. Arsen would not have any kind of problem.

Meanwhile, Arsen started to go to the circle part of the Goblin's camp to eliminate the goblins that will surely intervene with him once he faced the Goblin Sorcerer. Every time the Blink and Stab skill cooldown, it was sure there were goblins will fall to the ground. Because of this progress, Arsen became level 4 at 12%. Also, he received another basic skill called Edge-Tosser. This skill allowed him to have fighting capabilities in long-range combat. He acquired this skill when he picked up a knife from the goblin and threw it into their eyes.

In this game, players have two ways to obtain a new skill, it was either to perform the skill accidentally or to obtain a skill scroll. Also, the skill scroll was quite hard to earn and has different tiers. The tiers will be the ones that determined the effectiveness of that skill.

While the other goblins were busy finding Arsen. Arsen already went back to the camp to face the Goblin Sorcerer.
