Chapter Forty-Six

~Third Person's POV~

The wind blew hard against the window as it rained cat and dog. The weather outside matched perfectly with the one inside the house. Stormy, noisy, unpleasant, and scary. It had been like this for two hours now; both outside and inside, and there was no sign that it was going to stop soon. The sound of plates breaking and pieces of furniture being thrown across the room blended well with the sound of the wind against the windows and the rain against the roof. The sound of a screaming child was drowned by all the other noises, but the sound of a yelling woman was quite prominent.

The woman had been at this for two hours. It was like a drill in this house; she yelled and broke stuff and the child cried and screamed.

It wasn't always like this, though. It used to be much different from this. How did things go south so fast?
