Chapter 08

This new method of having some fun with the otherworlders before they were to meet their fate was one where they would have to show themselves again for it though. It was time to see just how well the act would go.

The otherworlders were summoned confused and frightened as always. However this time there was a slight change to their summoning as further along idea there was magic cast on them that made them think they were still fully clothed at the moment. They were not as the summoning process only summoned them directly and not their clothes still. This was just done to further the plan Cruz had thought of with the twins as the center of it.

"Greeting as I bid you welcome otherworlders as you have been summoned to serve an important purpose" Cruz informed them

The group was partially confused but there seemed to be some that were his targets amongst the group. Those that seemed to not realize that whatever fiction their world had about otherworldly summoning might not match up with the real thing. There were chances of that being the case however this would not be one of them. Yet Cruz was planning to use that misunderstanding to his advantage though.

"Before you in the center of the room are a pair of twins that were once summoned like you but they have failed to prove their worthiness," Cruz said motioning to the twins' statues.

"Worthiness? You summoned us here again our will" one of the group stated.

"There even some of us missing so you did not seem to even get us all or were they left behind," another asked.

"If you were left behind in your own world you would have died there. You are still alive because you were brought here" Cruz told them

"What the deal with the twins then" came another question.

"Simple acquire what is within them and you will prove your worth" he informed.

They did not realize the huge smirk he had on his face at least mentally as he informed them how to attempt to acquire the weapon that dwelled inside the sister's statues. Of course, Cruz was sure they could not do it but it would be the fun part of seeing them attempt it at least before they became no different themselves

By giving them a false sense of hope claiming that if they get access to the weapon within the twins they would be saved from becoming one themselves.

"Wait!? What is this as what happening to mmmmmm...." one of them that attempted to do as Cruz said exclaimed.

Of course, they all failed to acquire the weapon the twins had become. Though not only that merely touching them sped up their transformation process instead. They are given false hope of being able to stop it by attempting to gain the twins as their weapon. Its failure and not only that it also backfires resulting in their transformation being sped up.

"Seems that they were not worthy either and what this. There is a second magic added to the summoning process maybe this is why they failed. It seems that if you do not succeed that your fate is to join them" Cruz said.

Resulting in some crowding around the twins after everything is over from those seeking a way out of their current setting. Thus the twin would be set up as merely a trap from the get go as means to see others get betrayed or even fight over who would get out their fate of becoming like them. Only for it to fail every time as no one could escape that fate in the end.

Cruz continued with the magic that made those summoned seemed to be fully clothed for a while until he got bored with playing along with the fantasy that some of them seemed to have about otherworldly summoning and the purpose behind it. Just having them arrive as normal and then just wanting them to react to the false hope he would give them to attempt escaping their fate.

Over time more of them were left in the area to see the various reaction they would make when it became clear their final hope was a false one and they were fated to become the weapons themselves rather than wield one.

"Wow!? these two girls are so life like that it's amazing" a guy said as he went over to the twins and touch then directly on their breasts.

"What the hell do you think you are doing," a girl said slugging the guy in the face for it.

However before since he had touched the process of his own transformation was sped up and he turned into a statue before he hit the ground unable to even react to what the girl had done. As for the girl herself, she noticed what happened to him and only had the briefest of a moment of realizing it before she fell to the ground herself as well. Her own transformation caught her in the middle of the punch thus she was left unbalanced and able to stand up on her own two feet anymore. The only thing different about her from the guy was that the realization of their fates was plastered all over her face.

It would continue like this for an untold amount of time going forward as Cruz would eventually stop using the twins in whatever idea he came up with to spice things up on his end. Afterward, there would be the usual testing process, and those that awoken weapons were overjoyed while those that could not be disappointed. Cruz then for a price allows them to try to awaken the twins which failed and the loss of their money.

Existing as merely a trap for others both natives of this world that were summoned into and for otherworlders that did not know any better. This would again continue onward for quite some time into the future for them.
