Hello, New World

I don't really remember much of what happened as I fell, I only remember flashes of colors changing every second before my very eyes before I could get a proper glimpse of them. I remember hearing all sorts of sounds all at once. Everything was happening everywhere all at once.

Eventually of course, I stopped falling. I felt my back hit something hard, like a wall of glass, and I crashed through it. I dropped to the ground and my body, weak after all that has happened, turned off.

I woke up the next day in a bed, a very comfortable bed. I got up and observed that my clothes were torn and broken, before observing the room. The room was big and had two kid-sized beds, one had a T on it, and the other had a B. I observed the toys and by the looks of it, boys.

I left the room and found a flight of stairs leading down. I went down the flight of stairs and observed the house. A large living room just by the main door. I walked to the main door and saw loads of envelopes. Letters and bills addressed for 2800 Sherwood Drive, Westview.

As I placed the mail down, I heard footsteps approaching. I turned around to see a woman.

Woman: You didn't wear the clothes I set out for you.

I looked at her, one hand holding a mug, the other holding a set of clothes she laid out in the room for me.

"Who are you?"

Woman: C'mon, I made breakfast. Go put these on.

The woman placed the clothes on a sofa before walking to the kitchen. I picked up the clothes, a black shirt, black pants and a long red overcoat. I decided to put those clothes on.

I walked into the kitchen where the woman sat, with four empty chairs. I sat on one with a bowl with cereals in it. I sat down, but refused to eat.

Woman: Eat, I'm not gonna poison you alright?

I eyed the woman, then picked up a spoon and ate the cereal. Once we were done, none of us said anything. She checked her watch then left the house.

As soon as she left, I sat still for a while, unsure what to do. After some time, I got up and decided to inspect the house. The house was huge, too huge for it to be a house for only one person. Family house, made sense considering I woke up in a kids room.

I walked up the stairs past the kids room to what was the woman's bedroom. I opened the door and looked inside. Inside, as expected, was a bedroom. Not so organized, but not too messy, it looked as though she has been living here for a really long time... alone.

I checked what was inside and I couldn't find much. Not much I could find that could tell me about her. Most of the things were dusty, as though they were left untouched for so long. I was about to leave the room when I noticed something. I looked at the drawer near the door and... the top most drawer wasn't dusty. I reached for the knob and pulled it open to find a photograph. I picked up the photograph to find a photo of the woman and a family. I looked at the photo closely wondering what could have led to this family-

Woman: Put that down.

I turned around to see the woman behind me. Bags in her hand.

"You're back... alone."

Woman: The photograph. Put it back please.

"Who are you?"

Woman: It's not important. Put it back. I won't ask again.

I nodded no. The woman then raised her hand and I felt my hand holding the picture be contained. I looked at it to see red crimson magic.

Chaos Magic.

She was me.

Wanda: I told you... I won't ask again.

I clenched my fist and let out a ball of Chaos Magic at her. It hit her at the shoulder and pushed her back a bit, but she didn't fall. She pulled my closer to her and I was pulled to her by magic. I tried punching her with Chaos Magic but she blocked it with her magic. Instead, she sent a blast of Chaos Magic right at me and it sent me flying and crashing to the wall.

I tried getting up but she was ready. Her hands glew with Chaos Magic and I knew that I wasn't gonna come out of it in one piece. I stood down.

Wanda: Who are you and why are you here?

I looked at my variant as we sat down in the dining room.

"You know who I am. You knew the moment you found me."

Wanda nodded.

Wanda: Why are you here then? How did you get here?

I don't know how but it would seem as though I forgot. Forgot until now.

"LIA!"

I stood up and looked around.

"LIA! IS LIA HERE?"

Wanda: Lia?

I looked at Wanda, scared.

"I have to go get her."

Wanda stood up.

Wanda: No you're not.

"Why not?"

Wanda: Well for starters, you're- what the hell is even going on? Who's Lia?

"She tried protecting me from someone... someone dangerous."

Wanda: Right... and how do you plan on saving her?

I showed her Chaos Magic... and she laughed.

Wanda: Really? You can't even control your powers... what more using them against someone dangerous?

"But you can."

Wanda stopped laughing and looked at me.

Wanda: I'm sorry, I can't help you.

I stood up as she started to walk away.

"What do you mean you can't help me?"

Wanda: It means I can't simple as that. I'm sorry.

I wanted to go after her, but I didn't. I watched as she slowly left the room and went upstairs to her room. After a while, I went back up to the kids room and lied on the bed.

I lied there, thinking and wondering. Wondering what was maybe going on wherever the Scarlet Witch was. What she was planning and what she was gonna do with Lia. I started to worry, where is Lia and what is going on with-

Wanda: You still up?

I sat up to see Wanda, standing by the door.

"Yeah, what do you want?"

Wanda walked to me and sat beside me.

Wanda: Why do you want me... to teach you?

I thought hard about this because to be honest, I didn't know. But after a while, I settled for an answer.

"Because, the greatest teacher... is myself."

I smirked as Wanda sat there thinking. After a minute or two, she got back up and walked to the door, and before she left, she paused.

Wanda: Tomorrow, noon. Get some rest.

Wanda left the room and I lied back down in my bed, and went to sleep.
