"Almost there. Just a little bit further."

Those words echoed over and over again in Clair's mind as she ran through the dark workplace. Clair ran before stopping in an office cubicle to catch her breath. As Clair's breathing slowed down, she could hear as the door to the staircase opened. Footsteps were approaching. Clair silently drew a dagger and prepared herself. As an agent passed by, Clair grabbed his riffle, pushed it away from her and slit the throat of the agent. Agents who followed him started shooting at Clair but Clair used the dead agent as a body shield. As they ran out of ammo, Clair threw the body at one of them, and killed the agents one by one.

Clair turned and she heard as the door opened once again.

Agent: MOVE MOVE MOVE! TARGET IS IN THE AREA!

Clair cursed. She approached the dead agent and snatched his watch, and put it on before running towards a window. The agents saw her and started firing at her. Clair got her pistol and shot at the glass window before jumping at it, breaking it.

Clair started to fall. She was multiple stories up the tower. She turned herself around, aimed the watch up high, and as she pressed the watch, a grappling hook shot out of the watch and attached itself to a higher level of the tower before pulling Clair up.

Clair zoomed past the agents and went up until the she stopped. She took her pistol once again and shot the glass window a few times before swinging at it and crashing into the window, and back into the building.

As Clair fell to the ground, a woman approached her. Clair sighed.

Clair: Thank God you're here.

The woman extended a hand and Clair took it, getting up. Clair got up to face her older sister, Chase.

Chase: What took you so long?

Clair: You trying running up that much flights of stairs. Do we have an escape plan?

Chase: Thena is on the ceiling with a chopper. Have you got it?

Clair smiled as she pulled out a small USB and handed it to Chase. Chase examined the USB and smiled.

Chase: C'mon, let's go.

Chase and Clair approached the stairway. But as they did, they saw that the T.H.E.P.A. agents weren't far behind them.

Agent: TARGET SPOTTED WITH AN ASSOCIATE! I REPEAT, TARGET IS NOT ALONE!

Clair: SHIT! LET'S GO!

Clair and Chase started running up as the agents started firing at them once again. As they ran up one floor, an agent opened the door, slamming Clair's face. Clair fell a few steps down to the landing. The agent brought out his gun but Chase grabbed his hand and slammed the gun into his own face. She then kicked him in the groin and slammed his face into the handrail before kicking him to the wall. As the agent fell, unconscious, a small ID card fell to the ground. Curious, Chase picked up the ID and examined it, reading the name of the agency.

The Human Endangerment Prevention Agency.

T.H.E.P.A.

Clair got up. As she got up, she looked down the staircase to see multiple agents closing on to them.

Clair: We gotta go... NOW!

Clair got up and Chase dropped the ID before running with her. As Clair and Chase approached the door to the helipad on the roof, gunshots. Clair looked back to see the agents nearby. Clair grabbed Chase's gun and started shooting.

Clair: START THE CHOPPER! I'LL BE RIGHT BEHIND YOU!

Chase ran to the chopper with Thena Montgomery inside, sitting on the pilot's seat.

Chase: START THE ENGINE NOW!

Thena started up the chopper. Chase got a rolled-up ladder and the chopper started to ascend. Clair ran to the helipad, agents behind her. Chase let down the ladder and Clair grabbed on to it and started climbing up.. But before the chopper could fly away, multiple agents of T.H.E.P.A. grabbed the ladder and started pulling it back.

Chase: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? GET US OUT OF HERE!

Thena: If I move, the force will break the ladder!

Chase looked down to see her sister climbing up. The agents who weren't pulling or climbing up the ladder started to shoot at the chopper. Chase cursed, knowing she was out of options. She looked at Clair, who was climbing up. Clair was close and she held her hand out.

Clair: PULL ME UP!

Clair held out her hand, but Chase didn't. Instead, Chase brought out a small dagger.

Chase: I'm sorry.

Clair looked in fear as she saw Chase do the last thing she wanted her to do.

Clair: CHASE, NO!

Chase used the dagger to cut the ladder.

Clair watched the chopper fly away as she fell down and landed back on the helipad. The pain on her back was too painful for her to get up, but she didn't need to. T.H.E.P.A. agents everywhere surrounded her, guns pointing at her. No way out.

Clair looked at them, counting how many agents, preparing to go down fighting. But then it occurred to her. Everything Chase did was for a reason, meaning that this was for a reason.

Clair sinisterly smiled as she raised her arms, surrendering.
