Unexpected arrival

It was still early in the morning and the fog was covering the mountain peeks. Darkness of the previous night still lingered in the sky, and the stars were hanging on to the fading darkness.

In the distance sky, a sun-red object approaching at a frightening speed. In the blink of an eye, the small dot turned into a giant dragon, with a small carriage on it's back, the fog naturally escaped.

Unlike a normal carriage, this carriage was being pulled by a large dragon, it's skin was covered in dazzling flames that dances back and forth.

The carriage was a large and closed vehicle formerly used to carry passengers, basically a stagecoach, but instead of a horse pulling it this one was pulled by a hug dragon.

The Stagecoach, dwarfed by the immense dragon, appeared as a sleek black silhouette, distinct from the blazing beast, it blended in quite well with the darkness and was almost unnoticable.

Everyone felt their chests tighten as the dragon's feet destroyed the ground below.

The dragon which was the size of a stadium, slowly shrunk and from the flames, an middle-age looking man appeared, reins were tied up around his body like a horse.

The strange thing was that the man had his eyes closed as if he were asleep.

The door swung opened and a man appeared, the man was wearing all black clothes that hung loosely on his body, his eyes looked indifferent to everything and everyone, almost like he was drunk on something.

He didn't even waste his time looking around, he treated the world like it owed him money.

'Isn't that Erebus, the head of the Erebus family?'

'I heard he was nicknamed the dragonnslayer. They say in the battlefield he fought against a hundred opponents of the same level and still won.'

'Could you quite down you to, everyone can here you.'

As soon as the men stepped out of the carriage, the guards wanted to whisper and gossiping, but no one found the courage to.

"Father, you came early, we weren't expecting your arrival." Nemisis, stepped forward and took a bow.

"Yet, here you are welcoming me." Erebus, Nemisis's Father looked around the mountains and guards.

"There something wrong with your heads." Erebus amplified his voice, so every could hear him. His indifference face had a bit of annoyance and angers.

'????'

Everyone was confused by this statement. What did he mean by this.

"They are not on the ground." His voice suddenly become chilly.

The subtle pressure that was in the air suddenly amplified by a thousand times. No one was spared and no one was able to resisted. Everyone was caught off guard and fell to the ground headfirst.

The thousands of guards, the board members and even Nemisis received this treatment.

'So it's true that he gained a breakthrough in his recent fights with the dragon's. This man single handedly took on the strongest dragon and fought with them to the death. He has to be the strongest peron in the world.' From the ground, Edward gulped and looked at the man walking slowly towards them.

Erebus walked slowly but surely, each step he took made everyone's hearts tremble, his seemingly inaudible footsteps echoed in everyone's ears.

"The next time you dare to greet me, you'll have a choice; willingly bow your head to the ground, or face the ominous permanence of your defiance." His words echoed in everyone's ears, and landed in their heart.

"Lead me there and prepare the auction." Erubes didn't even stop moving and walked past everyone. Hearing his words, Elder Lu, Edward and Nemisis quickly followed after him.

"Dominick, quickly prepare the auction!" Elder Lu quickly said and left.

His departure significantly eased the pressure, allowing people to rise. The lingering pressure was of a mental nature, and even in his absence, most remained quiet, seemingly afraid to disrupt the silence.

"..."

"Quickly prepare the auction!" Dominick regained his composure, and quickly ordered.

"What about the other guests?" A board member asked when he saw the guards getting up and rushing towards the mountain range.

"What do you prepose we do, tell the world's strongest man to wait for others." Another board member chimed in, she looked at the other board member like she was looking at an idiot.

"There won't be a need for that." Dominick said as he looked towards a certain direction.

In the still dark morning skies, multiple dots started appearing one after another, the dots quickly grew in size and arrived in front of the mountain range.

A plethora of diverse and luxurious carriages landed one after another. The carriages were pulled by various types of flying beast.

From the first carriage to land, a flock of figures with white wings on their backs and humanoid bodies exited the carriage, they had beautifully faces and gave people a sense of angelic .

From the second carriage, a society of humans wearing white and pretentious clothes emerged, they looked as if they were religious.

The third carriage was made of wood, leaves and various other things found in nature. A whisper of humans, with pointy ears and otherworldly beauty strided out.

The forth carriage....

The fifth carriage...

The sixth carriage...

And finally the seventh carriage. The last carriage didn't have an ounce of lavishness in it, on the contrary it looks to be made out of mud, dirt and logs.

From that carriage, an assembly of tall humanoid silhouette stepped into the light. The figures had an addition pair of arms right under their arms.

Either it was male or female the people were covered in large mountains of muscles, covered in grey covers. They were clad in animal fur. One word to describe their overall impression, was barbaric.

"I'm so glad you guys are able to participate in this year's auction, welcome." Dominick's face was beaming with a smile.

He couldn't be careless, as this auction was important. Elder Lu, would definetly kill him if he messed up and the people in front of him were powerhouses that couldn't be taken lightly.

"You guys are participating as well, I'm so happy that the bar- I mean Tetramights could join us." Dominick said looking the the last carriage, he had an arrogant expression.

"Hmph." The two men standing in the front snorted simultaniosly.

"Everyone follow my words this event will go smoothly, So without further ado, please follow me." Dominick started to behaving differently. His head held high and his steps big.

He turned around and led everyone away.

_A few minutes prior_

Erebus walked in front with Elder Lu, Nemisis, and Edward in tow.

The guards had formed two lines, parallel to each other, to welcome the guests.

'What of the boy?' Edward transmitted his thoughts.

One guard who was standing by the side, smoothely followed the moving group and lagged.

'I've taken out enough money to purchase him based on the price in his collar, even if the price increased by ten time. As for him, I left him at the cacoon as per your orders.' The guard words fell sounded in Edwards ears.

'Ok that's- wait what! I didn't order you to leave him there! I ordered you not take him out of his cell! ' Edward's eyes widened in shock, he clutched his hands so hard they started turning white. Why would he incorrectly exacute me plan? Is he betraying me? Is he a spy planted by the others?

Edwards thoughts suddenly ran rampant but not a second later he calmed himself down, 'What's the meaning of this, are you turning your back against me?'

'No sir, I wouldn't dare, I must have mis heard you or something! Please forgive me! I'll fix it right away.' The guard started panicking, his body was drenched in sweat.

The guard slowly started falling behind as the party kept moving, until he dissapeared.

_A few minutes prior_

Roland and his group had just left his cell and when they felt a suffocating pressure crushing them down to the ground. They were caught of guard and tried getting up but to no avail.

"Impossible!" Artic and Ash exclaimed simultanious.

"It can't be, What's this ridiculous strength!" Artic was in disbelief.

The pressure pushed them all to the ground and kept them there for a while.

For Roland, he felt that the pressure wasn't simple. He felt like there was something else mixed into it, something dangerous, something repulsive and disgusting.

His entire body trembled uncontrollably, his heart pounded loudly in his ears. Every inch of his body was in a horrendous amount of pain, he was drenched in sweat.

Suddenly the pressure dissapeared and everyone was able to move again.

"Who was that?" Roland's body was quickly repairing itself.

"A strong warrior has just arrived and he just declared his supremacy." Artic articulated.

" His not just strong but unimaginably strong. These walls can block a person's powers, aura and most of all pressure, but this person ignored that." Ash painted a clearer picture.

"Then why are we standing here, let's quickly leave." Roland turned around and led the way. He suddenly got a deep heart-wrenching feeling that something bad was going to happened, he felt like he a bad omen was approaching, and with each passing second the feeling got worse and worse.

They quickly reached the stairs and frantically rushed down.

Roland's heart sounded in his ears like a beating drum as he missed a few steps and almost fell down a few time but continued on regardless.

The others saw this as weird but didn't question and thought it was acceptable in their case.

Roland pushed open the door to the tenth floor, but instantly stopped in his track.

The hallway and walls were simular to the other ones, but Roland seemed to see death at every corner. This reminded him of the area he died at in his previous life.

"Why'd you stop?" Ash was puzzled, wasn't he the one in a rush, what's with the sudden delay.

Ash also stopped when she saw the hallway, "My instic are telling me to run."

Roland nodded, he couldn't help but mutter under his breadth "These are the 'dangerous' people."

"These people also have on their restraints, so they're just like normal people." Artic was the only one who seemed unaffected.

He walked to the first door and open the small hatch to take a look.

Inside was on old lady with more then twenty restraints clamped all over her body, and tired up on the walls like a spider's web.

As soon as Artic's gaze meet with the old lady, he instinctively closed the hatch and jumped away.

"I almost died." He muttered as he hyperventilated, he held his chest and quickly calmed down.

"Quickly get up, we don't have time let's go." Roland quickly led the way, he ignored the anxiety and fear and kept running forward .

Roland didn't know where his master's cell was located, he had a general idea based in where his cell was and how he dug.

They ran for five minutes before Roland stopped in front of a door.

"I think it's this one, I'll check first." Roland wasn't too sure, his brain was working under the influence, influence of fear.

He quickly ignored the feeling in his heart and opened the small hatch. Inside he saw an empty cell, as far as the light could reach.

'There can't be an empty cell right? Master probably went to the lions and Fifi is inside the wall! So by default the cell has to be empty!' Roland nodded to himself, it all made sense

"This is it!" Roland said, he took out the key and quickly opened the door.

They entered the room and Roland quickly rushed to a certain direction, he was going for the tunnel but something was strange.

The tunnel in the corner that he painstakingly dug was kidnapped.

'Did master or Fifi cover it?' Roland frowned and looked around.

"Are you guys looking for something?" A deep voice came from behind as the door slowly closed and slammed shut.

*Bang*
