Desperate fight_2

*Tremble*

Roland and the others were petrified with fear, their bodies shivering uncontrollably. Even more so when they saw the man standing in the middle.

For Roland, he felt like the man in black had come to kill him specifically. He'd never felt fear like this, he couldn't handle the fear and directly fell down to the ground.

"A little bird, a worm and a dog, I w- wait!." The man in the middle entered the cell but he suddenly stopped.

"Where's Cyrus?" The man's aloof expression suddenly turned solemn and serious, he frantically looked around the cell.

Hearing his words everyone started getting nervous.

He dissapeared and appeared besides Roland and looked down at the tunnel behind him.

Standing this close to the man, Roland's body stopped shivering, his heart stopped beating and he stopped moving entirly. Roland didn't know what happened but his consciousness went foggy.

"He escaped!"

"Mr. Erebus, there hasn't been any damages or breaches to the dome around the island, if he escaped, he must still be within our territory." Edward quickly stepped forward and explained.

"The forest! I sense two presence when I arrived, get our people to go there, I'll followed this tunnel." Erebus disappeared into the tunnel and left these words lingering in the room.

As soon as he left, the atmosphere in the room gradually returned to normal.

Roland's heart started beating again but the rate increased dramatically, his blood continued to flow, his body continued to tremble, just like the the other's. A lingering fear bloomed in their hearts.

"Yes sir." Edward's gaze shifted towards the three people and them moved behind him.

"Ms Nemisis, I'm sure your father knows that only you can mobilise your family's forces. Elder Lu, please make sure that everything else is in order and prepare for the auction. I'll take care of these prisoners." Edward took the initiative.

"I don't need you to tell me!" Nemisis didn't waste her time and directly left. Elder Lu on the other hand stopped in her tracts and looked at Edward.

"No, Dominick is taking care if the auction." She narrowed her eyes. "I will deal with these prisoners, you go and make sure, everything else is fine."

Edward frowned, looked at her for a second before nodding and leaving with a smile. While leaving he said, "Remember the auction takes top priority and so is Mr. Erebus entertainment."

'Scheaming bastard.' Elder Lu snorted, she had seen through Edwards words and saw that he wanted to be alone with the prisoners. She didn't know what he was planning but she couldn't allow him to succeed.

Now only she was left with the prisoners, she looked back at them. They are the merchindise for the auction, how did they remove the restraints and get here? Well, I'll find that out now.

"Now, I want you to tell me exactly how you got he-" Elder released her pressure but stopped as a flaming ball suddenly appeared in front of her.

She didn't have enough time to react but the fireball suddenly stopped in front of her as a black cane appeared in her hand. There was no heat coming from the fireball.

The fireball was held in place by a transperate an intangible net that was wrapped all around it.

'That was close!' She thought as sweat trickled down her face.

She moved her hand slightly and the fireball got extinguished.

Ash was surprised that her sneak attack didn't work, she had put a lot of power behind that attack, but she didn't lose her fighting spirit.

After the fireball was extinguished, she positioned her hands and a river of fire flew out of her hands. The fire took the shape of a large dagger as the temperature in the room quickly rose to a frightening degree.

Hmph! Elder Lu snorted and lightly slammed the cane on the ground. Strong winds kicked up and easily wrapped around the flames before compressing them into a small sphere ball.

The fireball slowly floated besides her.

Ash was enraged, she quickly sent another fireball but it quickly changed it's course and was absorbed by the floating sphere.

"Worthy of being a Phoenix." Elder Lu complimented as she gazed at the fireball besides her.

Roland who had long since regained his composure picked up two small rocks that he had gotten from the nearby tunnel. He threw the rock at Elder Lu but it suddenly stopped in front of her.

"A rock? You didn't actually think this would hurt me or that I let my guard dow-" Just as she spoke, she saw another rock flying into the floating firball.

The stone was also absorbed into the fireball but there was no reaction.

"What did you think, that was going to do." She looked at them curiously.

Roland picked up another stone and threw it.

"Enough of your nonsense!" The stone also stopped in front of her and another larger stone flew into the floating fireball.

*Boom*

A muffled explosion sounded as the floating fireball got bigger, but was ultimately suppressed. Elder Lu frowned and looked at the fireball.

Artic took this opportunity and a soft green light wrapped around him and he dissapeared from his location.

He appeared in front of elder Lu, intending to attack but caught a mean backhand that sent him crashing into the wall. He spat out a mouth full of blood, the soft green light faded away, and he passed out immediately.

"You boy! What did you use just now?" Elder Lu questioned, she directly ignored Ash who had appeared besides her and looked at Roland.

Ash sent out a flaming kick but her body suddenly stopped in mid air, an entagible force was wrapped around her body, keeping her in place.

She tried to struggle and break free but it was ultimately futile.

Roland looked on in shock, everyone was moving to fast for him to keep track off. One moment Artic was besides him, the next he was in front of elder Lu and the next he was knocked out. The same applyed with Ash, he didn't see what happened.

Just as he was thinking, a strong pressure suddenly appeared and crushed him to the ground. Roland couldn't move an inch.

"Wait! Wait!" Roland shouted out in pain. In his hand was a makeshift granad. It was the black powder, wrapped in a small cloak.

He had made four of them yesterday, just in case something doesn't go according to plan. He had used one earlier and was left with three.

Elder Lu approached him, picked up the 'grenade,' examined it, and carefully opened it to inspect the black sand within. Selecting a few grains of black sand, she pinched them, causing a sudden explosion. She marveled and exclaimed, 'Fascinating!'"

Just above Elder Lu, a hole suddenly appeared, a cold breeze quickly filled the room. Elder Lu was too engrossed to notice it.

Fifi poked her head and frowned, confused by the situation.

She had just finished breaking through and went up to check on Roland but was surprised when she saw that the illusion she placed was removed, also Roland wasn't in his cell. Worried, she came down to inform the old man but saw the suddenly situation.

After moment of daze, Fifi recognized this old lady. She was the one who had imprisoned her in this dammed place, this hateful old lady. A determined look appeared on her face. Ash and Roland also noticed her.

Ice suddenly coated her palm, forming a sharp blade. She descended down, and slashed horizontally, aiming at the old lady's neck.

Elder Lu sensed something wrong, she turned around and quickly blocked with her cane. She was too engrossed in studying the mysterious black sand and had let her guard down, but luckily she had superior strength.

'Hmph!' She pushed back and sent Fifi crushing into a wall with ease.

'I need to quickly end this.' Elder Lu thought, she already had to many close calls, and this was coming from people she considered ants.

'She's strong, I have to give it my all. I'll freeze her' Fifi resisted the pressure around her and slowly got up. She was using A great deal of energy, a soft blue light appeared on her palm, the temperature in the room plummeted.

She add more power into it and the blue light got stronger, while the temperature continued to drop. After charging her attack, she sent it out at a frightening speed to the hateful enemy.

Elder Lu watched the attack coming towards her, a flicker of interest shined in her eyes. To her the seemingly fast attack was actually in slow motion. She shook her head to cleared any unnecessary thoughts. She gathered her powers, "I don't have time to was- ahhhh."

Just as Elder Lu was preparing to counter and attack at the same time, something suddenly stabbed straight through her foot.

Whatever it was, it ignored the multiple barriers that was protecting her, and her natural tough body, and penetrated straight through her.

Roland who was struggle, felt his body slowly adjusting to the pressure, with much difficulty and strain, he pulled out the O.P dagger and stabbed the old lady's foot.

Elder Lu screamed out in pain, she was momentarily distracted and the already approaching attack, instantly appeared in front of her. She ignored the pain in her foot and swung her cane at the attack.

*Boom*

The pressure in the room suddenly dissapeared, the room was covered in a cold smoke screen. Ash was suddenly free, she quickly used her fire to clear the fog in the room.

Soon, she saw the old lady was covered in a thick ice and frozen like a sculpture.

"Sister are you ok?" Ash quickly went to help her sister, she hadn't seen her sister in a long time, and was undoubtedly her top priority.

"That won't hold her for long! Quickly to the tunnel!" Fifi said with much difficulty. She had used up a lot of her newfound strength, and she wasn't accustomed to it yet. She could barely stand.

"No! that won't do! Let's go this way. " Roland wasn't that badly injured, he quickly got up and rejected that notion.

Although that scary man, might not be on the other side, he could very well be.

*crack crack*

Just then multiple cracking reverberated in the room, the ice around Elder Lu started to spread all around her body.

"Ash, quickly get Artic and I'll help your sister." Roland anxiously took Fifi's arm around his shoulder.

They quickly got everyone and left the room, just as they closed the door, the ice shattered and ice was sent flying everywhere. Roland felt a strong thud just as he locked the door.

"Let's go!" Roland immidiatly led the way and Ash followed with Artic in her arms. She had tried waking up the wolf-boy, but there was no response. He must have sustained some serious injuries.

Roland didn't relax for long as he remembered something.

The were currently, two tunnels in his master's cell, and the old lady could take either on of the and quickly appeared in front of them. In their current state they couldnt beat her, hack even at their max, they could barely contend with her.

If the old lady took the tunnel leading to his cell or the fifth floor, she would appeared sooner then anticipated.

Hack even if the old lady didn't appeared, any opponent right now would be to much to handle.

'What to do?' Roland couldn't think of anyway out of their predicament.

"Stop right there!"

Just as they tuned a corner, they were spotted by a group of guards who had just entered the tenth floor.
