Chapter 5: Wangshu Inn, no. 14, 30 and 42

It was already 7 pm and Vache finally arrived at the Wangshu Inn however he was looking very exhausted as he was breathing heavily from the excessive amount of running.

Now you may be wondering. Why did he run to get to Wangshu Inn when he could've just walked at a regular pace of a normal human. Well that's because he wanted to experience it.

Vache's previous life had him staying in his patient room due to his weak constitution that could barely take a single step and it's been that way for 18 years which basically meant the entirety of his life.

So when he felt the chance he ran all the way to Wangshu Inn with a black outdoor backpack snuggly strapped to his back (He purchased from the system for about 1500 C-points)

When Vache was going to the elevator the customers and employees on the ground floor of Wangshu Inn were definitely awe-struck not because they saw his appearance as it was obvious he's a foreigner but due to his face.

It made some speculate he was related to Keqing, one of the seven stars of Liyue. While others wondered if he was an aristocrat or even a thug. The reason being is that his face was seriously tense and looked like he would destroy anything within sight that the milelith soldiers who were just eating or stationed became wary of Vache as.

But in actuality he was just really tired from running and hungry because he hasn't eaten anything yet. Vache couldn't care less of his surroundings as he sat in one of the empty tables

Sigh 'That was fun' I thought alto myself as I was satisfied from my foolish action. Vache was met with a notification sound

As I heard the notification in my head I pretended to look like I was captivated by the sights I have on Dragonspine to avoid looking weird to others. I then started to open and see my {Player Status} and tapped the 'more' button.

Aside from the host, contact with the target is required to trigger the skill's effect.

'Huh? Why does this look like a foreshadowing of something' Vache thought to himself as he looked at the skill "Stability". Why? It was because of the fact that he read too many novels that it was susceptible to him that he would one day use this on someone, who either has a mental problem and restraints in the near or very distant future ahead.

As Vache was stuck in his thoughts pondering 'What could it possibly be? Could it be an encounter with the final boss or something more generic like meeting the protagonist. But he shrugs his conjectures right now as Vache is greeted by the inn waitress, Yu Hua, whom he already knows in the game (Genshin Impact) as one of the twin sisters that work for Wangshu Inn.

"Hello, Welcome to Wangshu, Do you want to order something to eat?" As Yu Hua uttered those words Vache didn't hesitate to ask "Do you have any meat dishes? I really want to eat something" Vache really was feeling hungry as he hasn't eaten a single thin yet after entering Teyvat and his hunger got a little worse due to his running which he regretted now

"Then would you like to order our matsutake meat rolls? It only costs about 3,350 mora" she said with a polite and mellow tone "Sure I'll have 2 please and no drink please"

Yu Hua nodded as she left to give the order. When Vache saw her gone to the elevator and up to the upper floor of Wangshu Inn. Vache then sternly glanced at the scenery of Dragonspine going back to his thoughts

'I don't have any mora though' Vache was panicking inwardly 'What do I do?! What do I do!?!' though his exterior looks were calm and captivated by Dragonspine in his head he's having a mental break

'Wait' I then had an idea. Remembering that there was a feature that allowed me to convert currency so he thought maybe. Just maybe this could convert C-points into mora and I was right

After checking the bag's content. Vache bought some other stuff and added some of them onto his black travel bag.

9 minutes later ...

"Here you go sir 2 plates of matsutake meat rolls and a cup of water" Yu Hua finally appeared with my order. I then took out a pouch filled with mora from his bag then handed it out "Thanks here you go"

The waitress nodded slightly and left understanding that the pouch was Vache's payment.

Vache looked at the plate of freshly hot meat rolls with him drooling from the scent of the dish. He stopped himself for a little longer before he started to scarf down the delicacies.

Vache took out and placed a cold bottle of beer, a cold bottle of Soju and a cold soda can of sprite. He then finally feasted on the meat rolls. Scarfing them down at a slow but steady pace. (A/N: If you know then you know to just read)

'The texture, the matsutake were soft yet firm, the meat wrapped on to the mushrooms was crunchy. The taste was slightly salty yet savory Vache felt so happy chowing down on it

He then grabbed the cup of water and gulped it down completely emptying it. Vache then opened all the beverages. The sound the drinks opening attracted the attention of the employees and costumers alike wondering what our protagonist was doing but then minded their business

"Ok, if I remember correctly. One shot of Soju (Korean Distilled Beverage), one shot of Beer and one shot of Sprite (Lemon and Lime Flavor Soda" as he muttered those words he then put 1 shot each of Soju, Beer, and Sprite into the empty cup.

Vache took a deep breath, the spectators were anticipating what he was gonna do as then smack the bottom of the cup and flick his arm flicked his arm.

Vache could see foam rising rapidly 'Now!' He immediately started to drink the concoction, gulping every last bit then finally *Bam*

Vache slammed the wooden cup on to the table which caused some of the customers and employees to flinch then look at Vache. He then wiped off his mouth with his arm feeling satisfied "Man that tastes good! It's been awhile since I drank a milkis shot (Just search it on TikTok or something)" exclaiming happily as he then took 2 more milkis shots until 5 minutes later...

"Hehehehe~ that was *hiccup* good... Really really good!" Vache got tipsy "I wish my family could've been here drinking" he felt sad, wryly smiling now he can't be with them. He knows it in his heart and mind but just like any other living being, he couldn't except it. So he started to sing the song "In The Stars" by Benson Boone to cope from the harsh reality he faced

As the song ended echoing through the starry night. The spectators who were listening were impressed by Vache's range and singing but also felt sad as they looked at the purple haired man assuming that he's experienced so much as they saw him crying when he was singing having being.

Vache's own little world, After finishing the song he then got his notebook, crossed out 3 things from his notebook, packed up everything after and left. Leaving a huge impression of himself to the staff and the customers who witnessed his sudden yet outstanding performance.

Meanwhile, a male figure, who heard Vache's singing on the rooftop of Wangshu Inn. The figure was reminiscing over a past memory as he unbeknownst to them shed a tear that on to a demon looking mask.
