Chapter 118: Warp to the Metropolis

Caden and Elara were led through a series of long, dimly lit corridors, the air punctuated by the hum of machinery and the muted sounds of technical discussions. They reached a vast, domed chamber with a raised platform in its center. Metal railings, glowing softly with blue luminescence, circumscribed the platform, beyond which lay the impenetrable vastness of space.

As they stepped onto the platform, Caden instinctively moved closer to Elara. The vastness before them was both mesmerizing and intimidating, a yawning chasm of darkness pierced by distant stars. Caden, with his experienced eyes, could spot the subtle distortion of the black hole even from this distance, a gravitational monstrosity that was at once beautiful and terrifying.
