Emperor Palpatine goes by many names. Chancellor  ,  Supreme Chancellor, Darth Sidious, and Emperor Palpatine. His powers are unmatched by any being in the galaxy. His ambitions carry across the stars as he rises through the ranks of the Resistance. However, he is a master of disguising her true intentions as he trains Darth Maul behind the Jedi Masters back. But when Emperor Palpatine sends Darth Maul to assassinate Qui Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, Maul is eliminated. So Emperor Palpatine begins to search the galaxy for a dark student of his own to rule alongside him. Sara Ventris is terrified of the powers that she can access, but this fear only makes her stronger. Emperor Palpatine makes her his new apprentice, and together, they believe, that they can rule the galaxy.

Star Wars: Legacy`s.

Emperor Palpatine brought Sara onboard the Eclipse as the sun peeked over the horizon. She then gripped a small leather sack that bounced back and forth between her hands. At her house she had hastily shoved some clothes, and a carved box into the sack. Emperor Palpatine was curious to know what was in the sack. He didn't know whether to ask her outright or wait. After all, he didn't want to scare her off... 


"So, what's in the box?" Emperor Palpatine asked boldly, deciding to take the direct approach. Her head snapped up. 


"Is it really any of your business?" Replied Sara Ventris.


"If I am to be your Master, you have to tell me things. So, I'll ask again. What's in the box?" Said Emperor Palpatine and Sara just looked at him.


"If you must know, it's some of my mother's things. She died years ago." Replied Sara Ventris.


"Can I see it? Please?" Said Emperor Palpatine before Sara Ventris handed him the box. The hatch then opened with a small creak. And what Emperor Palpatine saw in the box stole his breath. 


Sara Ventris sat in a sketchy ship with a man who called himself the Supreme Chancellor  and he was rummaging through her mother's things. Those few items were all that she had left of her mother, and it was her fault that she was dead... Sara then looked down at her lap and pushed away the painful memories. She then heard a muffled gasp from Emperor Palpatine so she shot her head back up. 


"How did your mother get this?" Said Emperor Palpatine.


"I honestly don't know. She said that it was mine and I would know what to do with it when the time came and when I needed to use it." Replied Sara Ventris.


"She's even farther than I could have hoped for." Said Emperor Palpatine and Sara Ventris just frowned to herself. What did he mean by that? And, what did he mean by saying that he was her Master? Sara Ventris opened her mouth to ask him, but then shut it. He did say that she could learn how to control her powers, right?


Emperor Palpatine gripped the handle of the elegantly crafted lightsaber. How did Sara's mom get it? Did she make it? Had she been a Mandalorian? Emperor Palpatine then activated the dark saberr. The glow reflected in his eyes and Sara opened her mouth then closed it again. 


"Are you ready to learn the ways of the dark side of the force?" Said Emperor Palpatine as he deactivated the  dark sabers. Sara Ventris then nodded her head yes.
