When they were about to leave, a person emerged from the ground.
"Hey, my name is Emily Sung, but my top-secret codename is ELEMENT WOMAN," she said.
She appeared to be a woman; her body was composed of different elements, with some parts being earth and others made of trees, and her hair was a pinkish-purple.
She pointed at Flash and exclaimed, "I love your outfit! It's so... red!"
Her behavior was strange, but then again, who in this group wasn't?
Batman seemed to recognize the woman and engaged in a debate with Cyborg.
"Great, Element Woman has shown up here. She's as reliable as anyone in Arkham," he remarked.
Cyborg chimed in, "She's not crazy, Batman; she's just not used to being around people."
Batman gave up on talking to Cyborg and turned directly to Element Woman, asking, "What are you doing here, Miss Sung?"
She then explained that she had been following Cyborg since he had shown the team what he was trying to do by getting Batman to join them to help. But in the end, nobody wanted to join to end the war, and she didn't understand why. She said that things were dire out there, people were dying, and they should be helping.
And it seems she also had a loneliness issue because she ended up saying that nobody had ever invited her to join a team before.
"Now that the super boy is gone, we need more help to catch the reverse flash," Inmo was the first to speak in favor of the elemental woman.
"The elemental woman is out of her mind, Inmo, just like you."
"Don't worry; I'll keep an eye on her." After saying that, Inmo winked at the Elemental Woman, but she seemed not to have understood the real meaning.
Batman eventually gave in and allowed her to join the group, so they all set out together to seek help for the flash.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a small house, a group of children were chatting while watching TV, but there was something strange: there was a tiger in the room, and no one seemed to care about it.
The calm was disrupted when a strange quartet burst through the door with an unconscious person. "We need your help," one of them said as they placed the stranger on the living room floor.
The group of teenagers appeared to recognize the strangers who entered; it seemed to be Batman and Cyborg with other strangers.
Several minutes passed, and now that everyone was calmer, Batman began to speak.
"I heard that you once helped Sandman recover his memories with the magical lightning that gives you your powers. I thought you might be connected to the Flash... Somehow," he said.
One of the boys promptly replied, "I didn't help Sandman recover his memories, Batman. I just prevented his mind from getting worse."
"What's wrong with him?" Batman inquired.
After Batman explained it was something akin to Sadman, Billy, one of the teenagers, decided to try to help. He placed his hand on Barry's head and began to harness his magic.
Inmo, who had been silent until now, was petting the tiger that seemed to behave like a cat. As he observed these teenagers who held the power of Shazam, he pondered whether he could bring them into his reality.
Rays began to appear between Barry and Billy, and soon the Flash awoke. Billy began speaking about hope when the TV started delivering grim news.
"We've just received unbelievable reports of a massacre across the United Kingdom..."
The report went on to discuss the American jets' downfall, which were en route to attack the Amazons and, by all accounts, were taken down by invisible jets. Then came the shocking news that hit Barry—Hal Jordan had died.
Things looked dire, and more information from Cyborg revealed there were reports of a massive explosion there, but it wasn't from the U.S., but rather... from the Atlanteans. Satellite images showed a colossal tidal wave hitting the United Kingdom. It's beginning.
And the sound came from the TV.
"And that, folks, is The End!"
Flash used his powers to whisk Batman away from the room, arriving in the kitchen of the house.
There, he launched into a grand speech about how he couldn't treat this as a dream anymore and that even if they found Thawne, it would be incredibly challenging to discover what his enemy had altered in the past to lead the world to this state.
Flash emphasized that they had to save the people who were dying. If he couldn't restore things to the way they were, they had to save this world.
Unexpectedly, Batman declined, stating that either Flash changed the world or he'd let the world burn in hell.
Flash appeared incredulous, and that's when the others entered the kitchen, asking what was happening.
Inmo was right behind them, holding the tiger in his arms like a cat. His thoughts were still on his last idea: he should take these kids to his dimension. They were living in such a small house amidst an impending war.
Yes, undoubtedly, he was being the good guy here, and no, it had nothing to do with the tiger trying to lick his hand.
Returning to the main topic, Flash was telling Cyborg to summon the people he had gathered because they were going to try to end the war between Diana and Arthur.
Victor told Barry that the people he had gathered would only participate if Batman went with them. The Dark Knight had created his own myth as an invincible legend.
The teenagers ended up joining Barry, saying they would participate even if the others didn't.
Just like the elemental girl and Cyborg, who never gave up, they would also go. So, Flash looked at Inmo.
He had hope that Inmo could follow them, but he couldn't say much in case he chose to depart to another dimension in search of a world not at war.
"Hey, you can count on me," Inmo didn't disappoint. Without hesitation, he declared that he would go with them.
In the end, even Batman agreed to join after Barry mentioned that Bruce would have gone with them; at least that's what Flash thought had happened.
So, everyone boarded the plane to head to the battlefield. On the way, Cyborg contacted the team, gathered them, and, after a conversation, managed to convince them to participate.
However, there was something strange on this plane. Inmo wasn't on it. Before getting on the plane, he had said that he had to do something before going to war. They would meet on the battlefield after that. He shot up into the sky, breaking the sound barrier on the way, disappearing into the clouds.
Everyone found it odd, but in the end, no one said anything, and they continued without him.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inmo was in space, his power unleashed, divine light radiating from him. His divine attire displayed all the glory a god should possess, a true divinity.
His cold eyes analyzed a massive structure floating in space, a colossal weapon that humans had created in an attempt to surpass the Atlanteans and Amazons, the humans' ultimate gamble.
And that's what Inmo wanted to see happening. He wanted to know if humans had any chance of winning this. He remembers that in the comic he read, in the end, this weapon was destroyed by one of its creators.
A man who lost his family in the war was saved by his daughter, who was a homo magi, but the girl could only save him.
Since then, Ale has been building this weapon while learning dark magic. In the end, he ends up fighting his own daughter, and he wins. However, in the end, his daughter shows him another reality, just as she shows the people the weapon would kill. The girl seemed to have memories of what reality was like before the flash changed everything, giving hope to the man who, in his final moments, went into space to destroy the weapon he created.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And that's what was happening on the battlefield. There were seconds left for the device to be activated when the Man triggered his magic, turning his entire body red, heading into space as his final thoughts raced through his mind.
"Just this time in my life... let me do something right... let me help someone... let me save my daughter..."
Standing in front of the weapon, his eyes were closed to focus, his power overflowed, bursts of red energy were spreading through space, he was about to destroy the weapon, when.
He felt a tightening in his throat, as if a Python were strangling him. Opening his eyes, a divine figure was gripping his neck.
His hair was black, seemingly absorbing the light around him, while his garments were white, made of pure light, with black and golden details forming a strange dragon figure that extended across the entire outfit of this being.
He tried to say something, but his voice wouldn't come out. He was about to lose consciousness while thinking, "In the end, I couldn't save her." A tear rolled from his eye and floated in space.
And right after he fell unconscious, another figure emerged in space; she seemed to be the man's daughter. She glimpsed this strange vision; her father was in the hand of an extraordinary being.
She didn't know what to do; she had used the last drop of magic to come to space to save her father. Now, she had only enough left to return to Earth. After that, she couldn't use magic for the rest of her life.
That's when something unexpected happened: the strange being gazing at her moved his hand, releasing her father and tossing him to her. The girl was swift in grabbing her father and returning to Earth.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inmo remained in space, his cold eyes watching the destructive beam emanating from the weapon and heading straight for the continent of Europe. Half of Europe had been conquered by the Amazons, while the other half had been submerged by the Atlanteans. This was humanity's last chance.
