Issue #3

Inmo, who was finishing his work, noticed something strange. The Flash, with a furious look on his face, managed to overcome gravity using the speed force, quickly rushing toward Inmo.

As everyone endured the pain, thinking it might be their last breath, a loud noise echoed through the city. Fortunately, the most significant damage was directed skyward, or the city, already reduced to rubble and ruins, would have another major scar from the war.

The Flash's punch, executed at full speed, generated tremendous energy, akin to a bomb when released in the punch. Even the residual force of the blow was enough to push away those near Inmo, lifting nearby debris, further damaging already crumbling structures, creating significant chaos that made it impossible for people to see what had happened.

After a while, when the dust settled, those who had previously fought one another were now united, hoping that the deity had perished from the blow.

Unfortunately for them, when the accident site became visible, there stood Inmo with the Flash kneeling in front of him, holding his right arm, which had become unrecognizable, resembling a mass of bones and flesh.

When Inmo perceived the Flash's attack, he had used just one hand to deflect and redirect the attack skyward. Even after becoming so powerful, his reflexes still followed the safest path.

Sadly for the Flash, the speed force was unable to prevent the recoil from the attack, which exacted a heavy price on Barry's body, leaving him without an arm. He lay on the ground, gritting his teeth in agony.

Inmo looked at this without a trace of pity in his eyes. Although the Flash was his favorite character in the DC universe, this was not one of the versions he admired. Speaking of which, may God have mercy on the DCEU Flash, for Inmo will not.

"You keep seeing this world as a dream. Did you know what would happen if you used that attack? Yet, your belief that as long as you can go back in time, none of this would happen continues to destroy you," Inmo asked Barry in a calm tone.

"No, you don't understand. Thawne did this. He turned this world into a hell. If you help me, we can change this," Flash still tried to convince Inmo to stop.

"No, Barry, just like me, deep down, you know it wasn't the Reverse Flash who did this," Inmo was growing irritated with Barry's superhero theatrics.

"You went back in time and saved your mother. You changed the entire timeline. It was always you," Barry heard this and was horrified, finally realizing what he had done, but he still couldn't believe it.

"I could change everything; the world would return to normal," Barry, with his remaining strength, tried to convince not only Inmo but also himself that he could do the right thing. "I just have to get the Reverse Flash."

Inmo remained silent, gazing at Barry until he raised his left arm, and from amidst the rubble, a lifeless body floated towards them. The body wore a costume similar to the Flash's but with inverted color patterns.

"Barry, you've always had the speed to go back. I killed Thawne a long time ago, but you still wanted to stay here with your mother. You'd only return if this world were destroyed. You don't have what it takes for the ultimate sacrifice. Barry, you're not a hero!" Inmo's voice grew colder, and the irises of his eyes became darker, almost leaking darkness.

"Unlike you, Barry, I have what it takes for the ultimate sacrifice." As he said this, Inmo used his power to take the lives of all the Atlanteans and Amazons.

"What have you done!" Barry, on the brink of insanity, yelled at Inmo.

"I GAVE THIS PLANET, THIS REALITY, A CHANCE," Inmo's voice was so loud that it spread throughout the city.

The humans who hadn't yet escaped looked upon Inmo as a true deity. Just as Inmo had said, they had always hoped for others to save them, and one by one, they fell to their knees in reverence to Inmo. Some prayed to him, while others, who had endured hell in the war, losing their families, mothers, fathers, or siblings, all wept with joy.

The rest of the world had discovered what had occurred here and wondered what would happen next, whether this deity was good or evil.

The remaining heroes didn't know how to feel. They had come here to save these people and end the war, but in the end, Inmo had appeared and used his seemingly limitless power to bring everything to a close.

Batman agreed with Inmo; this was a war, and there were no winners, but he still wanted the Flash to go back in time to change the past and let his son Bruce live.

"No, no, no," a hysterical Barry began to harness the speed force. His eyes burned with power, and sparks of lightning crackled through them.

As Flash rose from the ground, he looked at all the people who had lost their lives, and then he looked at Inmo.

With determination in his eyes, he turned his back on Inmo and started running, his body covered in lightning.

A surprise appeared in Inmo's eyes. He thought that in this reality, Barry would choose to live a quiet life now that the war had ended. Flash might experience some depression for a few months, but he would eventually overcome it and see that this was the best for him: a happy life with his family.

Inmo watched as Flash disappeared into the horizon, a smile gracing his lips. "One last dance, hero."

His body ignited with the power of the speed force as he raced forward, beginning to chase after Barry, who had fled.

Flash was giving it his all, and he felt someone following him, realizing it was Inmo. His heart was pounding like never before, and he was pushing himself to the limit, but it seemed it might not be enough.

Tears welled up in his eyes as he remembered the memories he had in this reality: the moments spent with his mother, birthdays, Christmases with his family, his pet.

"Sorry," his voice was almost inaudible as he was about to destroy all of this.

Flash broke the time barrier, but Inmo continued to chase him, getting closer. Barry's body began to tear apart.

"AAAAHH!" Barry screamed, increasing his speed, and his body started to disintegrate. He was beyond the speed of time. In the end, realizing that Inmo would still catch up to him, Flash made the ultimate sacrifice.

Barry's body was destroyed as he turned into lightning, completely merging with the speed force. The lightning traveled through the time tunnel.

The lightning struck the past Barry, pulling him out of his speed and preventing him from changing the past.

Barry managed to change reality, escaping from Inmo.

Inmo, witnessing this, broke into a broad smile. "Run, Barry, run."

Inmo quickly returned to where he had been. The battlefield still had people, and for them, both Inmo and Flash had vanished for minutes. When Inmo reappeared, he could already see reality being rewritten. He used his divine power along with the speed force to allow some of these people to retain their memories of this reality. With his mastery, he could access the souls of humans, even the deceased, couldn't escape his manipulation.

And to conclude, he took Batman and raced through Gotham until he found the Joker of this reality, who was the mother of Bruce. Thomas Wayne thought she had died, but Martha was still alive, hidden in Arkham Asylum. It was there that Inmo found her.

It happened just in time as reality was changing. Inmo covered them both with the speed force, and it all happened so quickly that when they realized it, they were already in Gotham, on top of a rooftop, looking at an All-Door, which displayed the last major invasion that the Justice League had stopped.

Inmo, far from being seen, floated in the sky, watching thomas and Martha with interest. Bringing Batman's parents back to life might seem like a good thing, but for those who know these two, things are about to get crazy around here.

After one last look, Inmo used his speed again. He already had the location of his original reality on his wristband, and it was time to return.
