Mae's Pov
I am here now in the stable of horses still here in our farm
"How are you destiny?" I asked my horse while stroking her
Yes, I have a black horse
"Young lady, your father is calling you"
I was taken aback by what he said
One of dad's trustees
"Alright, I'll just follow" I answered
He walked first and I let my horse out and I rode her back to the mansion
"I'll leave destiny to you first" I said to an assistant
He immediately took the horse's rope
I walked into the mansion and saw dad, mom, and uncle Arnaldo, Kent's dad who is the governor here in our province and Kent
What are they doing here?
"You're already there, come join us here" said Tito Arnaldo
I walked towards their direction
"Sit next to kent" dad said seriously
I didn't do anything but sit next to him
"Where are you going Mae? they have been waiting for you especially Kent" said dad
Kent turned to me and smiled
When did he come home?? The last time I saw him in Villa de Ortega
"Let Mae go, maybe your daughter just went for a walk in your farm she also disappeared here for a long time"
Dad didn't howl anymore
"Well, we're all here now I want to talk about our children's upcoming wedding" Uncle Arnaldo said "Have you talked about when you're getting married?" he asked.

"I don't want to get married," I answered bravely
"Ahh haha Mae, we can cancel your wedding with Kent this year if you're not ready" answered uncle Arnaldo
"I'm sorry Uncle but I don't want to marry your son" I answered
" Mae!! " dad said
"Wait, why don't you want to marry Kent? You love him don't you?"
"Back then yes I love Kent uncle but not now," I answered seriously, we were sitting together "thanks for the food but I'm not hungry" I answered as I walked away
"Look at your daughter Beverly, she's really rude!" I heard dad say to mom
I didn't understand them and left the mansion
I immediately took my horse from the servant and got on my horse and left
Kyle's Pov
The van we were riding in entered a large gate
"Woo are we here yet??" Benj asked
"Yes, this is the Salvartes farm and the mansion of the Salvartes was just ahead of it,"Linda answered .
I was looking out the window of the van
Salvartes Fram is beautiful with mango trees and coconut trees
"Wait, is that a horse??"
Benj took care of me
" First time Benj? " I asked him
"I haven seen it in other countries, but Mae property is different here," he answered
"Yes, Mae's dad will take care of that not only horses are here there are also cows that are exported to other countries," answered Linda.
Is that why the Salvartes farm was left with the Villanueva's so that if Mae doesn't marry Kent the farm will go to them and they will make a lot of money from it??

The van stopped before I realized it, I opened the door of the van and we got out
We were outside the mansion but it was already very hot outside
"How many siblings are Mae have?" Ryan asked Linda
"Only daughter"

"Where is Mae?" I asked Linda
Linda was turned away by the approaching woman riding a horse

"Woo easy destiny" she got off the horse and came to us
"You know how to ride a horse Mae?" Ethan told her
"Ahh yes" Mae answered him
Mae immediately looked at me and hugged me
" You miss me that much huh " I said
She broke away from hugging me
She smiled
"Let's go inside" she said
We were about to walk in when suddenly someone came out of their mansion, an old man holding a cane
" We have a visitor, you didn't tell Mae"
Mae approached the old man
"They are my friends.. and Kyle" she said while pointing at me
He is Mae's father
I came closer
"Good afternoon sir, I'm Kyle Edward Austen" I introduced myself
"Are you an Austen?" he asked
"Yes sir" I answered
He looked at me from head to toe
" Is he your man Mae? So you don't want me to marry Kent?"
Mae didn't answer
"You can't let them stay here"
"But they are my guests" Mae answered
"I don't care.. They can't stay into the mansion because we don't want to ruin our reputation with the Villanueva's do you understand?!"
"Yes papa" said Mae while bowing
"Hugo, we're leaving" his father said as he got into the van
And the van started to leave
Mae turned to face me
"I'm so sorry"
I held her hand
"Its ok, maybe we can find a place to stay while we are here"
"Yes, Mae don't be sad " Ethan said
Mae smiled
Linda came to us
"If you want you can go to the house first only my husband and I live there" said Linda
"Really?" I asked
"Yes of course" Linda answered
Mae faced her
"Thank you," said Mae to Linda
"It's nothing" Linda answered with a smile
"I didn't think you would follow us even here"
I was taken a back by what he said
Kent just left Mae's mansion
What is he doing here?
"I'm here for Mae" I answered
He came closer to us and stopped next to Mae
"My fiancée doesn't need you" he said as he walked towards Mae
"What the hell Kent!" Mae said as she let go of Kent's arm around her
"Why don't you go to your ex girlfriend instead of messing with my fiance"
"How did you know that I have an ex girlfriend?" I asked him
"Your ex-girlfriend's hug to you in the garden is common in your university," he answered
I wondered how he knew
"Why are you forcing yourself on someone who doesn't love you anymore?" I asked him
"Burn" said benj
He didn't answer
I saw that his jaw was crying
"You don't need to know who Mae is going to marry"
"That's why I'm here to stop that Kent and I know that Mae won't marry someone she doesn't love " I answered
I fell to the floor when Kent punched me
I held my lips
" What the hell Kent! " Mae yelled at him
"I will not allow you to be the only one who can prevent my marriage with Mae" he said as he walked and rode a brown horse and left
